Thank you for not making the character change genders in this movie.
I've found any universal tool usually ends up failing to do the specific things you want. If I want a 3D female figure for my projects, I'll get a female figure designed to be one, not a male model squashed into being one.
This seems like ( almost ) the tool that i've been dreaming about for some time to create a porn magazine that featured circus freaks. Two headed women, multiple arms, mermaids, claw hands and such...
Very cool animation, Daz. Wish it did not rely on DazStudio though. I see some of the potential, but what specifically could I not do with M4/V4 (or other meshes) in PoserPro 2010 that I can do with the Genesis models as seen in this video? (Perhaps I was too mesmerized by the animation to take note.) Thanks!
OK I gotta say this is funny LOL I really like this video. Had to watch it twice. Some of the combos really made me giggle :) Nice job on this and very cool way to show off the New Morphs for Genesis :)
Ok, all genesis fun & cool features. Now start the more pro animate features inside the dazstudio program (the timeline is useless). fix the pinning handlers and Reality version for animations. lot 's of work before launch DS4A next year.
um i was wandering, can i, as an independent game developer, use daz 3d for my game? i.e. use the animations, the genesis, ect. for my game. but the game is a free to play game, but has micro transactions, like in TF2. can i use daz 3d for my game?
@mattpoop614 I had the same question once, and unfortunately the answer is no. Not only is Genesis incompatible with normal file types, but most Daz products (including Genesis) are under a license that prohibits their use in anything other than renders.
@mattpoop614 Yes you can for a $500 charge you can use any daz vender product including in an indi game or 2500 for the Commercial license. This allows you to use any daz vendor Item for one game project other vendors like Raw Art at daz3d sell the same license for their products. as far as conversions daz does sell a Game Developer Kit for DAZ Studio for $150 to convert things into usable gaming content. and export them as FBX files.
The breaking point between indi and comercial is $100.000
and all poser user are banned out ...
