how do you play a video/movie when you connect your USB drive to the connector, because every time i try to view a movie it wont let me please reply- thanks

@biggestofthemall1 In order to play a video file on a connected USB mass storage device, the drive must be formatted using standard FAT 12, FAT16, or FAT 32. The Compatible video files must use the MPEG1 or MPEG2 file format with a maximum bitrate of 2 Mbps. If your drives and files meet these requirements, you may want to contact JVC for assistance. just got this unit, its amazing, dont wait just get it ;).  kenwood's garmin nav looks so 'outdated' and cartoonish. the screen quality is excellent, and overall features are great.
