no woman I know drives more sensibly because she is nervous, its because they dont have the agression men have........and I was told directly told by my insurance agent, be glad that my teenagers are Girls,,,,,,,boys are higher risk and generally stay that way, even though the rates level out after age 25.......driving is no special skill as most men think.......just one of the many things we all do as we go through life....
men drive lots more than women do. The American Time Use Survey shows that adult men average about 60 minutes a day behind the wheel, while women average around 40. The National Household Transportation Survey reports that men averaged 16,749 miles driven per year, and women 10,174. Given that they drive so much less, it’s not particularly surprising that women are involved in fewer accidents and pay lower premiums
its not males paying more, its females getting discounts because they tend to drive extremely slow , and cautious because they are more nervous, males tend to drive fast and aggressive because we like the adrenaline rush and we arent scared to take on our skills on the road.
