  • I have heard that there are some mangos that you just bite into...skin and all. I haven't found good organic mangos here and did find some good frozen. Don't know if freezing does anything bad to food but it's hard here. Wondering if you eat anything before exercising?

  • I would EAT this everyday if I can.. :) I would eat it for meal too.

  • how long are you raw?

  • @RawRunner, the mangoes you were munching on, cost $6/lb in Toronto, and I often buy them to my hubby's dismay. I love them very much, but if I sat down in front of 10 of them (about $6 each), for just one of my meals, my hubby would be very unhappy. Clearly I live in the wrong city. Happy for you being adventurous!

  • @lovearanka crazy! you live in the wrong city for sure! mangos are $1 each where i live!

  • namdokmai is the best!

  • No, because I always test at healthy levels.

  • @RawRunner "I always test at healthy levels."

You test specifically for methylmalonic acid? beyondveg. com/walsh-s/vitamin-b12/vegans-1. shtml "plant foods contain B12-analogues (false B12) that can imitate true B12 in blood tests while actually interfering with B12 metabolism. Blood counts are also unreliable as high folate intakes suppress the anaemia symptoms of B12 deficiency that can be detected by blood counts."

  • @hitssquad Where are you getting your nutritional "information" from? Pharmaceutical, and animal agri -business funded "studies"? Please consider reading "Could It Be B12?: An Epidemic of Misdiagnoses" by

Sally M. Pacholok and Jeffrey J. Stuart. Neither author is vegan, or encourages a vegan diet, so you may be interested.

  • @TrevynPlantard "Please consider reading "Could It Be B12?"

What does it say that contradicts what I quoted?

    .

"Where are you getting your nutritional "information" from?"

...From the webpage I cited. Here's the cite again: beyondveg. com/walsh-s/vitamin-b12/vegans-1. shtml

  • Do you supplement with B-12?

  • lmao at the Milky Way add in the top corner

  • @Freemans166 "lmao at the Milky Way add in the top corner"

It's not a contradiction. There's little difference between candy bars and sweet fruits. The candy bars are probably healthier for people, though.

  • @hitssquad Mangoes are sub-acidic fruits, not sweet fruits. And your second claim is just nonsense, sorry. No disrespect intended.

  • @TrevynPlantard "Mangoes are sub-acidic fruits, not sweet fruits."

When I say "sweet", and you say "sweet", do we mean the same thing? I call mangoes "sweet fruits" because 1. they're fruits; and 2. they taste sweet and are loaded with sugar -- as much sugar as candy bars (on a dry-weight basis).

    .

What would the fact that mangoes are sub-acidic have to do with whether or not they are sweet? You would also say apples, papaya, plums, kiwi, peaches, and berries have no sugar?

  • if only !....gotta get me nearer the equatorial line ...

  • you should cut the tips of those mangoes and suck the mango out like a milkshake.

  • man, that's awesome! I'm jealous, lol.

  • Yummy I've had them in Bangkok

  • Those look delicious. I have eaten up to 4 that were a bit smaller in a sitting but I was bursting at the seams and I am big guy. I would have to take hour breaks to eat that many.

  • It's impressive! ;-)

Do you know anything about the mistery on how mangoes are treated before being exported or sold? Which kind of mangoes are put in hot water? Organic? Exported?

  • @Teociry man none really knows anyhting .. c'mon!

if you can grown your own food - you'll know then :)

  • 'Normal Eating Series' I love it. :)

  • Thats a lot of fructose man! My guru says that you should temper the appetite via prana transcendance workshops. He is a competitive bodybuilder on 200cals a day.

  • @durianriders i was like whos that idiot writting this comment LOL, then i saw the durianrider name ahahah
