I miss this mall so much! Went to the site wear they tore it down about a month ago and recovered some of the wall from SEARS. So many memories there!!!
I miss Columbus square..I can remember everything about it!! I have great childhood memeories of that mall...circus world, taco casa, foxmoor, lerner, woolworth, kirvens, could name them all..I loved that place:)
although I no longer live in my home of Columbus, Ga I miss that mall. I have fond memories of eating at Woolworths, playing games at Funtown Junction and buying records at both Woolworth and Camelot. It's really sad that how in the 1990's that mall just went down and pretty quickly too. It's sad that they spent all that money in 1982-3 to renovate the place only to tear it down 20 or so years
later.
Remember 'Columbus Square Mall is where good things happen for you and me' as their slogan??
I remember going there right before it shut down. If you ever go to a ghost mall, it's an epic experience.
