Besides, if we're going to play that Sex Appeal game then why not sexualize the male armors as well?

It's only fair right? TERA's armor consists of huge gaps in the armor that show off the cleavage of the breasts, metal bikinis, and short miniskirts. Why can't the male armor have metal male thongs with cowboy hats and collars to appeal to the Bondage-lovers? How about metal strips for armor with a little piece of cloth to cover the penis?

*Some* GW2 armors are "Skimpy" but TERA pushes it.

@behappy2dayplzzz GW2 is gonna be beast no doubt and I will definitely play it. BUT don't assume just because a girl wars cloth like that in TERA makes them a porn star. There is the thief here who has tattoo all over her body and weraing a midriff clothing. That doesn't make her a whore now does it? Besides, it doesn't hurt to appreciate the artwork of artists (assuming you are a lover of arts). But to each his own.

Keep in mind that the term "degrading" is relative.In social Norm, when a woman wear skirt here, its fine, try that in a conservative society in India and it will be considered degrading.Similarly kissing in public over there is degrading (as in all religion), but here its a norm. So labeling something as "degrading" is to be done carefully.In social anthropology+psychology it is said that there is no wrong thing, only Norm. :D

Korean MMO's tend to have some skimpy, overdone, cleavage factory made armors exclusively for women though women in Korean wear no such thing. En Masse and Blueholes had to censor the armor for it to be released here in the US but only censored some of the Elin starter armors. You and I both know TERA's armory is an attempt to use SEX APPEAL to appeal more to the male audience.

It's the oldest trick in the Korean book for MMO's.

@AenimaJoe Agree, but also keep in mind that seeing something like this shouldn't be considered bad.here is why: i'm tired of seeing the same form of armors that westerners design in all games (such as skyrim, fallout, WoW, etc.) I would rather have a skimpy hot chick wearing an armor (which is fictional to begin with) then look at a dull boring looking armor.:D As for sex trick, look at the ads in europe or USA, they are full of sexual innuendos too. Sex governs mankind.

@JackBailey95 This game is still in Alpha. This is not comprehensive and I am quite sure that a fair amount of these are actually town clothes (sets with no stats that you can wear for RP/fun). I searched for a video where one of the Devs does a presentation showcasing some of the armors. No luck :(

In GW2 will not be something like "This armor is only for this class"

Scholar professions (necromancer, elementalist and mesmer (?)) will use light armor.

Adventurer professions (ranger, thief and enginner) will use medium armor.

Soldier professions (guardian and warrior) will use heavy armor.

In 0:26 we can see armor for "Adventurer profession". It's mean this armor can wear "Adventurer professions" (ranger, thief and enginner).

When there are new movies, certainly yes.
