even for ps2 the game is good...i noticed that for the earlier version they didnt have that much good graphics...the new version that came out in 2007 is much better with mutilations, blood on the ground etc...but still it doesnt beat xbox version.

Yeah, in order to unlock them you have to beat the game.

Here's a list of them:

Easy- Old Movie (Black and White screen)

Medium- Infinite Ammo

Hard- Unlock 'Authentic' Difficulty

Authentic- Super Squad (Your squad, not including you, are much stronger and can take more hits)

well,at least the eib PS2wasnt THAT bad, i mean they added the stripes and hearts and changed hartsocks model to a more decent version but it was still sucky,they left out the leaves in the helmets(again OMG) and left the straps of the guns and the motion hartsock makes in EIB when he switches guns. they also added the normal thing you get when u give an order...but really overral the EIB ps2 wasnt that bad..but still sucked....thats my review

You dont see how Allen picks up the the death pistol aftr Risner gets killed. You dont see Desola dying in Purple Heart Lane and Red doesent throw his helmet into the river in Coles charge. After a while the guy grow bears which is not the case in the ps2 version. Not to menntion those ugly subtitles that cannot be turned of... Legget doesent wear his radio equimpent on his back which is also very odd... Well, PC is the best version but the ps2 version is not so bad, just it has some mistakes :(

You control Desola in only one mission and McCreary in only two. You dont see how Obi gets killed (you just hear the shoot, no blood at all). When Allen & Garnett get killed you dont see their bodies just the sheets over the. If you reload the M1 garand in the middle of the clip, you dont see Baker how he takes out the clips left in the magazine... The men often are not in the squad in which they are supposed to be (Red is often in the assault team but he is the fire team leader).

you command mcreary in 3 missions on the ps2 m8...PPl heart lane,push in to carentan and no better spot to die(pt 1).and desola in one because they didnt introduce him in the crack of dawn on the ps2 and also didnt have him in the mission Buying the Farm.but only in alternate route...you also dont command desola in fall of st come or purple heart lane...so really they lacked that....

I have both RTH30 and EiB for ps2 but I also have EiB on PC... There are some very little but still very important mistakes in the ps2 version of RTH30. For instance, Red doesent have red hair and does not have a scar. RED has BLACK hair (weird). Corrion looks exactly like Hartsock in the mission "The fall of St. Come du Mont". The soldiers dont have hearts on their helmets (502nd PIR) and they dont have stripes on their shoulders (seargent, private, corporal).

yes you can. first u pull back the slide and let out the round in the chamber. then, on the lower right side of the gun is a small button. when you push the button, the magazine is released as if it were empty.

Dam i my dad works with firearms and on my work experience i went to where he works. he let me fire and M1 Grand on a firning range. it has a little button infront of the trigger which pops the clip out. even if it has not been used up. DAM dont always listen to games and books untill u have seen it. and yes it was a ww2 gun cos it was handed down by the us army.
