If it's just header pins, then no problem. They are kind of a pain to dig out anyway since you have to keep the whole row heated. Assuming all the 'keeper components' have already been harvested, I don't see a problem slappin' that sucker to get the header pins.
@ElectromechanicPyro I tried this method with an I2C accelerometer one time, and it stopped working... When I tried reading acceleration data off the device, the only thing it would return was "seriously, man, what the hell?"
