Oh wow, this looks beautiful! However those trick ramps seem to shoot you a little high into the air so you might need to add invisible walls and fall boundaries in places to stop nasty glitches. Unfortunately there is a guy who is working on porting every SNES track to MKWii already... however I hope to see some GBA Mario Kart tracks made by you in future :D
@worldsboss The way I've set it up, nothing in the track causes problems. The snow mounds are my interpretation of the 'snow balls' seen on the original track. Here, they are used for a shortcut when you have a mushroom.
Honestly, none of the retro remakes I've seen are of what I consider a decent standard. So, it doesn't hurt for me to make my own versions. I'm aiming to create tracks exactly how Nintendo would have done.
@Skelux So, basically, you're remaking them, as Nintendo would have, whereas pretty much everyone else literally ports them without any changes, except maybe for a few objects like pipes, enemies, and the coloured boundary square things?
@Skelux Wait, so you're not releasing anything until they're ALL done? D: that stinks a bit :( Also, when they are released will you allow them to be used in the CTGPR? (most popular MKWii distribution)
Interesting choice to turn the old obstacles into ramps, though I imagine it was as much due to limitations as to conscious design. Still, I like it; it adds some much needed depth to the course.
this will be for the dolphin emulator? also where are you getting your editing tools just want to know because the games you make are really good. last question what are your future projects will do super smash bros
@videogamesunverse Unlike star road, this will be easily playable on Wii, it's respective console. You will be able to play it using Riivolution or an ISO patch, which I will provide a game and dvd cover for.
Only thing I'd suggest is trying to get the audio to where it doesn't seem so ear-rapingly loud. But, as for the course itself, this is a very good job. Makes me wonder why the Vanilla Lake courses never made it into other Mario Kart games.
3 stars in every cup ! wicked, i only have B class.
nice track !

Do you plan on remixing the tracks' songs to fit the MKWii soundfont, or will you just use the original music?

@MarioCrash64 Probably a Kirby Circuit track. I'm aiming for the quality of the original tracks, so it may take some time.
