I love that you are doing a story on the girl's school. My family lived in the headmaster's house when I was in 4th grade. The school was an apartment house at the time.
wow this is great! born in america, never been to my village amanave...Moms name is Atauloma (deceased), she told me she was named after a school. Thank you for your work! God bless
My greatgrandmother was a teacher there LISE A'ASA (R.I.P.)... Reason why i loved this is because when growning up i would always wonder what that building was and what it was there for. I heard many stories; some true some not so true. To wathc this bring memories and my longing of wanting to go back home. THANKS USO!!!

In your sub titles you called the teacher she said MISS, however the Samoan Abriviation for Missionary is "Misi" So she was refering to a missionary rather than a title of a person.
wussup wit da guys sitting behind the window while the man was speaking? haha, my grandma went to that school back in the late 30's early 40's. She knows that elder lady that was speaking. is that cemetary still behind the school?

Yes Atauloma was the sister school to Papauta in Upolu of the LMS church (EFKS). My grandmother was also a student at Papauta.
