what is a good model of honeywell to get?

i want a good digital one that is simple and don't have to program it.

do they make such a model ? i have a rth23b and its easy to program.

Honeywell is a joke. They locked out 223 workers at the Honeywell plant and replaced them with inexperienced temporary workers who are untrained to deal with Uranium Hexa-Fluride. They have had UF6 Releases and have the NRC breathing down their necks...Companies like Honeywell will always put corporate greed before public safety...The man in this video is just ignorant and is easily influenced when big businesses send him a free hat and shirt. I love Honeywell, But they moved most of the JOBS to India, and China. They still have about 50,000 jobs left in the USA but with epa laws and Honeywells record on being number 44 on the most air and soil pollution, the jobs will still keep leaving the country. The tax payer will pick up most of the pollution tab. But you are right they have the best user friendy Thermostat.

I've been working for Honeywell down in Miami Fl for 5 years. It is a great company! We've got a great group of people down at Miami International airport and we're doing great things. I'm happy to see the positive things being said about our company.

Honeywell controls are my main spec. The communicating T7350H stats are superior to any other. Add some CAT-5 and you can automate your systems and control them from a remote location. Facilties managers love it.

i just left Honeywell UK employed as a controls engineer, the products they make are good products, but working for Honeywell is a different story. Management is very poor, nobody seems to know what they are doing, ordering parts is absolutely rediculous, the whole honeywell UK structure is poor and over the past 6-8 years they have gone downhill, they have just recently made alot of people redundent aswell.

I'm a fan of the new FocusPro and VisionPro thermostats, too. I just can't seem to let go of my ancient ChronoTherm III T8601D. The keypad failed more than three years ago (will not accept most commands), but it runs the program and keeps me comfortable. It has Adaptive Intelligence Recovery and it has the auto-changeover mode.

Set it and forget it. Honeywell makes the BEST thermostats.

I used to work for the big red H as an application engineer in H&BC. Everything from fire alarm to access control to CCTV to pneumatic temp controls to analog electronic controls to DDC to BMS. Did both engineering and field teching (wonderful experience). Great place to work, good training, good people. Didn't quite agree with how things were managed but it was still a good experience. I'm an engineer for the local utility now - great job, great pay. Wish only good things for Honeywell.
