@Gregoryharv He doesnt explain that but I think the key is to bend ur pinky at the last moment. This way the stick is trapped between ur pinky and ur ring finger and its way easier for u to catch it with ur index finger. Hope this helps :)

@1dwc123 Your right about that but its easy so to spin or "Fake Twrill" that you can teach a 1st grader to do it in just minutes. The way this guy shows is how I do it exclusively with both hands. It take yrs. to master and have the nerve to do it in a pressure situation and to not panic if you drop a stick. Some of my best moves have been my recovery moves trust me. Notice most of these people teaching someone how to twrill are not playing drums they are sitting on a couch. Good luck brother!
