well, theres megaman maverick hunter X, which im half certain came out before powered up, its a remake of the first megaman X, and as for the light hearted bit, the old nes version of this song sounded, a bit more dramatic than this does

Yeah. I think this version of Cutman's theme is in a major scale whereas the original is in a minor scale. (I could be wrong).

I just adore CUTMAN!!! XD The music is cute but I love the old school MegaMan music. I guess that's why I'm so use to pure version instead of the remastered style because I grew up playing MegaMan in the late 80's to early 90's. Anyways, it's cute.

Ohh that wouldn't be a factor of ESRB if its comparing this to the classic music. It was the style of the game to use a cheesy simplified look so they matched it with redone music that is kind of like it. It is completely the developer's finger on this to blame if you don't like it. I dont enjoy this soundtrack that much compared to the classic one, but the last boss fight music is pretty cool from this game redone.
