@ailoviutuyoyo2010 Not really... listen to other people play Led Zeppelin songs with LP's and they have a completely different tone to what page would get. What people don't understand is that in the studio page used a huge variety of guitars and Telecasters were on of his favorites. You also have to keep in mind that the amps, fuzz and wah effects along with the guitars is what helped him get a unique tone.
@ailoviutuyoyo2010 I did this a while ago and I will admit that it isn't the best, but to me it "sounds" better than what some other people have uploaded and they used LP's. Page never really told people what he used to use and still to this day people try to figure out how he got his sounds. I have a much better set up now with a great custom built fuzz and wah which gives a very nice vintage sound, much like early Led Zep (68-70).
@ailoviutuyoyo2010 To get the later '71-75 sound Jimmy had is not as hard, (to me) it is more of a generic sound that you can get from tweaking an amplifiers already dirty sound and using a guitar with humbuckers.
Guys like this are the reason I get called to give lessons. An ear is something you either have or you don't. Still, I give him props for the well-planned segways, and he's playing the right notes on many of the riffs. Keep on going dude!! One of these years you'll be able hopefully to look back at this and laugh!! If EFFORT counted as the overall yardstick, this is great.
you're playing alot of these songs wrong dude..

Hey, great job man. Just saying, you play Over the Hills a little off if you listen to how Jimmy plays it. Fantastic solo, though.
