@ItchyFlea1 WRONG! you must have gotten a pretty good CRT and a pretty shit LCD. Sure LCDs get a little blury when running a a smaller resolution but CRTs get burn-in quicker and are REALLY heavy, flicker alot, use tons of power and need time to warm up.

However I will point out that I've never had a CRT flicker at me when its been correctly set up. Unless you are referring to the flicker picked up by cameras. You may want to do some research to understand how and why that happens.

I had a dream last night that my LCD took a big shit...really weird.. I was using it too close to a heater...It got too hot and started blowing steam out the side of it...It then literally melted and gold colored ooze started coming out of it....Then my boss was there and had to clean the stage up....I am a keyboard player and my keyboard was midied to my computer and was playing a gig in the dream...Boss was not happy that his stage was gunked up Fucking strange dream...

LCD's have a fixed size resolution, CRT's do not.

LCD's cannot correctly display black, CRT's can.

LCD's are relatively sensitive compared to CRT's.

LCD's cannot effectively display a resolution smaller than their fixed resolution. CRT's do not have a fixed resolution and are therefore better at displaying smaller resolutions.

There are of course a few things that LCD beats CRT in, but overall, CRT is best.
