k my highschool choir just started this song like last week....we have it at lest memorized...and at tempo...this just sounds really last minute...plus you cant really hear any of the tenors or bass.......

Okay, you guys. Enough about the tempo. It doesn't matter in the scheme of things. It depends on what the director chooses as the tempo. You don't want a choir to rush through a song if they aren't that familiar with it. Especially foreign songs.

We have to sing this Salmo in A Cappella and we sing it this fast. So please, stop commenting on the TEMPO.

I'll admit it was off PITCH in parts, but otherwise it was not a bad performance.

it was too slow...but they did an ok job...i'm pretty sure they dropped the key by like a whole step...which is NEVER good in acapella singing...but they pulled through...no matter what a performer should always end the song...and you should be familiar enough with a song to perform it at ANY tempo that is "sing-able"...basic chorus knowledge..BUT they managed

i think ya'll did good......definatly could have been better, lil off key. but that is a difficult song to sing, i had to sing it for all region, very hard. i don't know what everyone is complaining about the tempo......the tempo was spot on, it's not supposed to be rushed through, then it just sounds like rushed shitty stuff. i give ya'll props...great job

But if you're head is buried in the book I would be able to understand where you're coming from.

Wow, I am in a high school choir. FSK Varsity Chorale, and I am the bass section leader in our madrigals ensemble. This choir took this song way to slow, the bass section is way off key. This was horrible. And it sounds like they had no clue how to say the words and did not know the rhythms at all.

Absolutely painful. Slow is not even the biggest problem. Tone (Ridiculously bright) and vowels were hideous. (The vowel in Laudate sounded like "lousy") Not good.
