it is. i just had it happen to me at this very instant. that is why i looked this up. except mine was a run play with the cowboys. i ran a stretch to the left, marion barber fumbled. i tried to rewind and the booth reviewed it. i tried to start right away so i didnt notice. i almost scored a 30 yard run with tony romo. it was so funny. the center hiked it forward and he broke a tackle the instant the play started. madden does have a lot of glitches.

I've never seen any shit like that in my life. I've watched dozens of videos regarding glitches/freezing issues with Madden 09 and it's fuckin embarrassing.

Everyone who worked on this game should be fired, especially the techs and testers for failing to catch all of these stupid problems.

I hope that patch 2 they're working on works because my Madden is unplayable in Franchise mode.

But this glitch here is a classic; I've never seen any shit like that before. EA is a fraud.

here is a better glitch, on the 360 use tampa bay playbook on Offence and do a running back direct snap and then h/o RT and choose any wide reciver as ur main person and the ball will automaticly give the ball to them if u dont belive me, play: o MaDDeN 09 o .on xbox 360.
