The moon is just the right size to block out the sun merely by chance. If the moon were bigger it would collide with earth by gravitational force and if it were smaller it would escape orbit and not be our moon. Its the same if the sun were bigger earth would be sucked in or if it were smaller we would drift away out of orbit. So in that case both are the size they are or the system would not exist. The moon is just the right size to block out the sun merely by chance. If the moon were bigger it would collide with earth by gravitational force and if it were smaller it would escape orbit and not be our moon. Its the same if the sun were bigger earth would be sucked in or if it were smaller we would drift away out of orbit. So in that case both are the size they are or the system would not exist. Think again creationist!

hmh, isn't it interesting how the moon is exactly the right size to block out the disk of the sun... that's because it had a perfect creator who made it just the right size and placed it just at the right distance from the earth, these aren't just coincidences! YAY for an amazing God :)

Religions only create divides in society and do more harm than good. If the whole world could agree that there is a more realistic explanation for its existence then there would not be so many wars and disputes over who's fairy tale is true and which is false when in the end their all wrong.

Also to me it is not a religion it is a relationship with Jesus Christ and it's not a fairy tale to me because I have seen Him work miracle in my life and He it is very real and evident in my life. Who ever said it blocks the disk perfectly? I still see some of the rim around the moon (not the shine, a bit of the disk is visible). It's definitely close, but it's a big leap to say perfect.

Yeah, because scientists with degrees revolving around genetics are really relevant to issues that are being worked on by scientists with degrees in physics / geology.
And sciences revolving around biotic matter significantly affects the way we live. Thanks to bio-science, we're able to cure diseases, strengthen our minds, and ultimately solve problems in the future.
