Man, they just jam! Sambomaster is one of my favorite bands, if not my favorite! Yamaguchi Takashi can sing well in his style and plays very well. Yoichi Kondo kicks on that bass, and is good at singing harmony (hear him on headphones). Yasufumi Kiuchi kills those drums, and you wouldn't expect that from a sweater-wearing dude!

I'm with you on not being a fan of rap. There's some I like but a lot more I dislike. To not call it real music is not right in my opinion though. Music is music. There's some people in the world who would take a look at Sambomaster and say the exact same thing but you'd be there to tell them otherwise, wouldn't you? Rap has lost a lot of its credibility due to MTV and new age "gangstas" but it doesn't mean it's not music or that it's wannabe music.
