again, find a lyric today that sing sing with this kind of "annima" and still have her voice fly so freely.... Things have changed... there are some wonderful singers today... but to sing this music with such a fresh and free sound.. we just don't hear it.

It must drive sopranos crazy to have a man hovering all over them and using them as gripping props to get out the high Cs;o)... at least it would drive me crazy. Can't they find a better way to convey love on stage?
