I really like the song and I like the way they sing it. I like the fact that it comes from the heart. It is obvious that they are not professional singers but they sing it with feeling.
"if GOD is for us who can be against us"...when i hear this song my heart is thirsting to receive Jesus Christ... wonderful song.Greatly appreciated for sharing this video...
This hymn is so beautifully sung by you. God bless you. I was in a conference in Gallup NM when the theme of our conference was Like a deer yearns for the water. It is beautiful to love the Lord and continue sharing your talents. God bless you!
It's not religion it's relationship that you should seek after. There is a Holy Ghost and you need it to enter the kingdom of God as well as baptism in Jesus name. It's in the book of John 3:5.
Catholic or Protestant, as long as you believe in Christ, you belong to One Universal Christian Church. We Catholics also sing songs by Protestants or other Christians in our service. He who sings prays twice.
Well, if we consider the meaning of the word "catholic"(Universal), every member of Christ's church has to be considered a catholic person. Even so I don't admit that this song can be considered "'Roman' Catholic", catholic.
it don't matter, bro. there's so such thing as "Christian music" either. there are only Christian lyrics. there is no SOUND that is "Christian",it's just what you sing out to the Lord
Songs connect every denomination because we have only one God and one Christ. We do this because we are not jews nor greeks we are one as a household of God
it´s so sad. the devils work is grown so that we got nothing else to do as thinking and making evil between the holy community of all christs. i think god is very sad.
Congratulations to the Choir, but also to the author.
This song is not catholic, being written by Marty Nystrom, "a gifted songwriter, worship leader and Bible teacher".
But, of course, it's very beautiful, also because it uses the words of a Psalm. So, it has been translated in many languages and sang in many christian communities. For example, I am Italian and catholic: next week it will be Easter, and my choir will sing this song during Offertory in the Mass of the Vigil!
Hi! If songs belong to any religion I dont know. I think they come directly from God. He just uses a person, Catholic or not, to write it. The person that God used to write this song is Marty Nystrom, he is affiliated to the "Overlake Christian Church " Kirkland, WA.
maybe what he meant by catholic is the message of the psalmist reflects the Universal Faith of the early Christian which is the Catholics. Infact the lutheran also protested Catholics...lol
this is one of the most beautiful religious songs ever

Interesting. This song was often sang in the Assembly of God churches I grew up in. I didn't know Lutherans sang it as well.
