i wont say this game was a complete failure because it was fun for awhile but then towards 40+ it just got super boring and really repetitive. there was nothing new in swtor that wasn't already in some other mmo aside from the voice acting, but even that voice acting got repetitive with the making of multiple classes. and pvp is totally boring, i mean i go pvp if im bored of questing, but damn pvp was just so boring after doing it like 10 times a day. huttball being 9 out of 10.

Join a ops group , use your global buff on yourself and you get all the tags of every person in your ops group .

oh and its filled with Major issues they cant fix or just dont bother...

Seriously I cancelled 3 weeks ago and I feel better already.

For those who consider this game il tell you something.. lvl 1-49 pve storyline is the only thing that deserve a try... once you get to 50 its a joke.. and a sad one.

the number of ppl who quit the game is out of control..

These videos really magnify a core flaw in SWTOR, and that is 'caster' clases, namely the Sorcer and Sage.

The only Jedi/Sith that can use such types of powers, are few and far between. There's a reason you only often seen the Emperor using such power..

In Bioware's unwise desire to provide (what they assumed were Warcraft migraters) a 'caster' class, they've made the game awkward.

Now fast forward to these PVP changes and we see why ranged casters make it sadly laughable.

They patched this, the turrets insta-kill you, so you can't spawn camp them. Just wish they would rollback the valor too, then everything would be good.

I've been 50 for like 2 weeks and i've been working my ass off to get my valor to 60, currently 48, but b/c of today's patch I just see no point in doing it the right way, when I can just spam my aoe like that...

I have actually really enjoyed SWToR, but this new Illum part is really bad.  I went out there today and just stood there. Really boring and not much to it. I can see why they would make the change, but they need to do something about this.

did they even test this patch out on the test server, i mean my server is pretty decent however when i check it on forum, people are arguing like there is no 2morrow. Also I think 50 bracket was too soon, it takes me longer to find que for the warzone. This is worse than former ilum daily...

It's not really a fail on Bioware's part, it's just the players being lazy and exploiting the valor system. Frankly, what I would like to see added soon is SWG-like space combat/World PvP zones and the ability to take mods out of 50 gear again.

@prehistoricorphans There are two groups. Republic and Empire. They are just sitting and waiting around. Both sides use range and AOE in hopes of killing each other. There are many other objectives to go and capture. Both sides are just trying to get their valor and quests done. No one really attacks much. I know of guildies who just sit in a raid group for half an hour or more and just get valor for doing nothing as they are in a raid group.

@hairytoothgaming don't forget the instantly respawning turret exclusively for the empire, effectively giving them an unlimited amount of valor points. The hero engine's inability to rollback means that they'll be eternally more powerful than the Republic side. They actually removed the cancellation button so many people are piping mad.
