  • Check ur wepon next time nice shooting

  • i was going to get the p95 over this but went to the gun shop and totally love this gun feels great and buttons are right where my thumb is... going to get this gun in a couple days. cant decide on 9mm or .40

  • Good shooting Tex! I just bought one and am gonna take it out tomorow..Hopefully,the trigger wont be a tight as I've read..

  • Comment removed

  • I thought you fired the gun off when you wen to holster it lol.

  • Nice, but check that weapon before you holster it, even though you know it's empty.

  • that didnt look too bad..heard mixed reviews. Plus the shooter is a whimp so take that into consideration.

  • @mikemagz ... Plus the commenter, @mikemagz, is a tool so take that into consideration. Try spell check next time, WIMP.

  • @jtf580 And why would I be taking spell check into consideration? Ps: Whimp can go either way. I'm a court reporter and I've used either. WHIMP. Take your book knowledge elsewhere little nerd. Find another hobby. Like you would honestly have the balls to pull it in a tight situation. Puhhhhleaaase.

  • @mikemagz Oooohhhh scary, a court reporter. Tell me exactly what was done in the video to make you think the shooter is a WIMP. Seriously please start spelling it correctly. It's actually harder to spell it the way you do. PS you misspelled please. Just a friendly reminder.

  • If you like your gun to get filthy, use European ammo. It's cheap and dirty. Just sayin

  • @vdub089 Did I ever allude to me using European ammo? Take proper care of your firearm and that wont be an issue.

  • @vdub089 Some of the best ammo I'v ever used is German.

The worst, was american, it was cheap- and dirty.

  • nice shooting

  • did the reload and draw really well. You looked like a natural.

  • wooow. the bullets ejecting could kill someone alone lol

  • is this at h&h gun range?? lol

  • Does different ammo seem to matter with accuracy?

  • @diver404 you know, i don't know. 95% of the rounds Ive fired through it are a Russian brand Monarch. They are made, Im pretty sure, exclusively for Academy Sports & Outdoors. Ive shot one box of Federals, but they were the crappiest bullets ever. The bullet and the shell were just dirty really, black crud was speckled all over them and the brass wasn't shiny and neither was the copper of the jacket. That said, I don't remember my Sigma underperforming with that ammo, it just got real dirty.

  • impressive mag swap!

  • @phillipislbj thanks.

  • I've had my Sigma 9mm for 2 years now and absolutly love it. I never had an issue with it at all. Iam not really sure what everyones complaint about the trigger is. My friends and I shoot this gun very acuratly. It is so easy to Field Strip and clean. Also its made in the U.S.A. The warranty is lifetime aswell. Keep Americans working by buying American made firearms.

  • @birdlobby i could not agree more. My friend has one and i was very surprised at how accurately i shot with it. Really cant add anything to your comment. Great response.

  • @birdlobby I agree, I own an Auto Ordnance 1911 made in Massachusetts. Love it, I am guilty of buying old Russian surplus rifles though. They are great weapons, but above all I can afford them. The cheapest american rifle you can buy that isn't a .22 would be an Auto Ordnance M1 carbine or a bushmaster Ar-15 for like 6-800 bucks. I just can't spend that kind of money on a single firearm yet.

  • @birdlobby id rather have a hi point then this, or glock, no saftey on a 9,,, law suit in the making, bet i could get better grouping with my hipoint then yall ever could with the sigma

  • people don't kill the messenger but i have heard that this gun is like a powerful BB gun they say it have no power and wont penatrate a man

  • This should be called how to spend $10 in under a minute.. LOL

  • @halofan1980 lol so true

  • @halofan1980 no joke. i remember when a box of 9mm ammo cost $4. That was only 5 years ago.

  • @jtf580 Prices for ammo in NZ are even worse.

  • @jtf580 so is a 9mm good for self defense?? cuz i hear its not... but it seems easier to use in close combat but wat if you want it to defened yourself against a highly trained criminal ?

  • @grandamracer23 I would say it is not. I've purchased a .45 ACP for my conceal and carry gun. A .45 has a lot more knock down power and isn't as likely to go through the target and through a wall and hit someone on the other side.

  • @jtf580 get a .357 long barrel. more accuracy, and hollow point, less likely to go through as much :P

  • I just bought one of these too. got a video of what spring to take out?

  • I just tried to buy this handgun but wasnt able to because my application came back as "delayed". Ive never even been arrested :(

  • @stonesour8 I used to work at a gun retail place and called in background checks all the time. And people got delayed often. Have you ever bought a gun before. Sometimes if your name is similar to a name on their crap list then you may get delayed, or if you have security clearance of some kind, military or what not. If you haven't heard anything in three weeks go back to the place and have them call to check on the status of your background check. After 30 days the paperwork is not valid.

  • Stone...JFT is right. Don't worry about it. The same thing happened with me. It has NOTHING to do with any suspicion on the government's part. I think it's mostly due to the amount of background checks that come in and processing delays. You may also have a common name. That will often cause delays while they try to figure out which "John Smith" you are. Mine ended up going through just fine after a delay.

  • @stonesour8 I wouldnt be too worried about being delayed. Happens to me all the time. My name is similar to someone who does have a bad record. I have a CCW permit in VA and a security clearance and I still get delayed. It takes an hour to clear it up but can take up to three days.

  • Practice 2 shot groupings. No more than 6 inch spacing between groups. Master that, then smile. Looks good so far. Keep shooting.

  • @musicguy11 It wasn't clear from the description, but I had bought that gun the day before this video.

  • well then, congrats. keep shooting man. be ready for when it matters;)

  • @musicguy11 will do, thanks for the tip on the 2 shot groupings. The double tap.

  • I owned a Glock that sat mostly in the safe or drawer. I never really liked it other than target practice.

  • Just bought a sigma. Took it through the range and made six inch hole in a target. Love it. To all the sigma haters out there keep shooting your 1911's and I'll spend the money I've save on AR parts. I carry my gun everywhere I go. Everyone should, cops only show up after the crime. And Ametrida, FUCK YOU, YOU PROGRESSIVE PANTYWAIST!

  • @thejestersgate agreed

  • @abercheese70 Agreed. I carry mine with an in-the-pants holster just fine with button up shirts untucked. Before that I would just put it in the front of my pants like a gangbanger or something. But it works. I originally thought it would be too big to conceal but it can be done and it's way easier that carrying a cop around, which I would do, but I can't.

  • I've got this pistol. Love it. Trigger pull takes about a clip or two to get used to. Big deal. Quite accurate, no stovepipes or problems to speak of. Easy to tear down and maintain. It came with a case, a pistol lock and two 16 round mags.

  • @TV843 what are stovepipes. Yeah, for the money it's a great gun. When I bought mine it had a $50 mail in rebate and 2 additional free clips. 64+1 rounds of 9mm. Couldn't pass it up. There is actually a spring that can be removed that supposedly reduces the trigger pull. I took it out but couldn't really tell that much of a difference. I should have recorded before and after trigger weight.

  • JTF, stovepipes are simply when a fired round fails to extract properly and jams in the action. It will sometimes look like a little "stovepipe" sticking up.

  • The gun is very accurate, you just have to know how to shoot. Stop anticipating the recoil. Yes it is a heavy trigger pull, but if you can't handle the pull, you shouldn't have bought the gun.

  • anybody know where you can get extended mags for this gun at?

  • I haven't come across any yet. let me know if you find some.

  • Please do cause im in need of one.

  • hahahahahahaha who wants to be a US citizen? NOT me!!! hahahahahahaha actually a US citizen is cutting my grass now, what a chance! ignorant rednecks... you are not worth responding.... ignorantes campesinos racistas! hahahahahahahahahahaha

  • @Ametrida I don't understand what you're trying to say.

  • ... mother happen to fucked in the USA.... I bet you do not have enough achievements to be proud of yourself, and that is why you are so proud of being from the USA.... I am here legally, but I plan to move back to Europe mother fucker... where people is much more decent than here!!! BYE ignorant redneck!!!! LOL

  • @Ametrida Good for you man. After you leave, America will be a much better place. So thanks for doing us all a favor.

  • @rpsetser I migth stay in America, just in a different country...

  • And, I think much more people hate your kind (stupid gringo punhetero) and mine. Ask around the entire world, and you will find how much people dislike spoiled kids from US. Ignorants full of hate and racits, that is what you are... hijo de puta! ignorant... you do not even imagine in how many countries (much nicer that the US) people speak Spanish. I bet you are one of those ignorant working on a Burger King and thinking you are the king of the world just because...

  • LOL! It seems that you are simply a sensitive stupid kid in his 20s... LOL!!! I know who I am, and even if I were someone with a humble job or degree I would be proud of being what I am... and very glad of not being a spoiled kid with no brains and full of hate, as you! Get education redneck, then I can take your messages seriously. So far, I just had a lot of fun seen how ignorant and dumb kids like you could be. Hijo de perra! gringito maricon! semerendo mamaguevo!

  • eh nice acurracy. you orned the shots.that sigma is a beauty.offcourse is a smith and wesson

  • Ametrida, I encourage you to provide hard facts to support your stance on gun control.

Please show me the facts showing that strict gun control laws would stop / reduce violent gun crime.

While you are doing this, remember that a good example is England. Guns are illegal to own there, yet gun violence still happens. Recently, they tried to band knives in certain areas. In those same areas, knife crime rose.

Please explain your stance with facts. Maybe you are not educated enough to do so......

  • I completely agree. though there is talk about total gun control I don't think it will be on the fire arms themselves. There is talk about going through with the assault weapons ban (again). As far as hand guns I highly doubt they will ban those but rather limit magazines(again). For example instead of 15 round magazines there will probably be 10 round magazines. We Americans need to understand that an unused right is a lost right.

  • A ban on aussault weapons, so long as the term is not abused by congress, might make sense. But limiting magazine size for handguns is rediculous. What good will that do in preventing gun violence. In essence, its just one more way either the executive or legislative branches of the government will seek to extend their powers over firearms.

  • That's just it, they think by limiting hand gun magazines they'll have more control. That just means people will buy more magazines and carry more on them. This is all bull shit and us Republicans told every body don't vote for the guy just because he's black. Now look they all voted because of race and not what he was willing to do and most of our rights are at stake.

  • Ametrida, maybe you should focus your efforts on controlling the automobiles in this country. Automobiles are responsible for more deaths every year across the board than guns are.

Take away guns from lawful gun owners, and you have a very happy and uncontrolled criminal element on your hands.

90% of the time the police arrive at the scene to play "clean up"

Please explain the numbers that show regions in the USA with the most gun control, also has the most violence against innocent citizens?

  • Just a few more things:

1.- You are wrong again in your usage of the term "Americans" to refer only to US people. Become educated!

2.- It is veryyy funny that you felt necessary to say that kids in the US do not massively kill classmates very often!!!!!! haha OF COURSE NOT!!! can you imagine if that would happen often? hahaha You do not have the level for this discussion. DO not happen often, but happen, more than in any other country. AND that, is a tragedy (but daddy wants a gun).

  • Im not educated? you are the one who has been spelling numerous words wrong and making sentences that are completely wrong your an idiot dork who nobody likes, your not smart, quit kidding yourself.

  • but don't stop writing everybody here at my work and I are having fun laughing at how ridiculous and how much estrogen you have.

  • Oh yea and kids killing kids in this country does not happen in this country more then any other country_ become educated!! also People from the United States are the only ones who are called Americans by every other country in the world, just dorks like you who think they are smart have to clarify that.

  • Fact, alchohol is the cause of more deaths than firearms (but you wanna drink). At least i can protect my self with a firearm. What the hell does alcohol do for me thats worth all the deaths it causes? its a beverage.

  • I agree, alcohol is even worse, it should be regulated or prohibited. AND, letting ppl drink as crazy and have weapons is crazy. Did I say I supported drinking alcohol? You are probably drunk!

  • acutally i dont drink. not because im against it; i just dont like the way it tastes. So you are against weapons entirely?

  • Against common ppl on the street having weapons, or having them at home... if the army or the police have weapons, fine, but you or me? no way... if a criminal wants your weapons he/she would easily take it from you (despite of what you think)... ppl feeling safer or braver for having a weapon put us, all, in danger.

  • well, im all for police protection. believe me, i would feel alot safer if there was a well-meaning, armed officer on every corner. The fact is, law enforcement is stretched to limits in terms of man power. I whole heartedly believe they do their best. at the end of the day though, they cant be every where in a single instant. an instant that could mean life an death for an innocent person. As for criminals taking weapons, its a problem yes. But not one that cant be overcome.

  • 2nd amendment.... you will have to pry my firearms off my cold dead fingers... I have the right to defend myself and my family. What do I do when a criminal breaks in with a firearm? Sit in the corner and cower? I think not.

  • Wow this and your against the way alcohol tastes you honestly just sound like another pussy fag lib

  • And you like a young son of the bitch. Have a nice day mother fucker!

  • Son of the bitch?? LMAO Learn to type you fucking pussy ass little Lib bitch.

  • You are right, I think I meant: pequeño hijo de puta! no puedes dar tu maldita opinion sin insultar a los demas? Estoy seguro que tu mamá es drogadicta y tu papá te reconra cogia cuando te portabas mal, maldito conservadorcito de mierda!

  • NO WONDER!!! You some pussy ass fucking immigrant. Your a fucking wetback Mexican. No body wants you fucking beaners in this country. Go back to Mexico and pic Chile you fucking wetback

  • Not from Mexico, hijo de puta... get a dictionary ignorant... so, you only speak English, redneck? Ignorant! lol. Go back to your little town in the mountains, hijo de perra y come mierda! lol.... I bet you do not know anything about geography, other cultures, art, science. I am Ph.D. in Biology... and will live wherever I want to.... ok? redneck? hijo de la grandisima puta! busca un diccionario hijo de puta!

  • Bueno señor, si su tiene un Ph. D., ¿Qué tipo de investicasion se hace?

  • Molecular phylogenetics.

  • Bien. Soy licenciado en biología. ¿De donde es?

  • All drinks tastes different. Some are fruity, some are grain alcohol, some are mixed.. I could make you a drink that is alcoholic and tastes delcious. You wouldn't even know it had alcohol in it... Good vid btw.

  • @Ametrida Yeah...we tried getting rid of alcohol...remember prohibition??? See what happened? MORE DEATHS. People do not want to be regulated or controlled. They want to be left the hell alone to make their own educated decisions. And you aren't able to make educated / rational decisions, then we have a nice 8 x 8 cell with your name on it. Or, a .40 cal bullet with your name on it.

  • lol.... i thought he shot himslef in the foot 0:38

  • Would be more impressed if the target isnt 25 ft. away, thats what my paper target looks like @ 25 yards.

  • is it worth the money? any complaints looking to buy one

  • Great shooting. I just bought one!

  • Looks like you have great aim.

  • i thought he fired again when he went to holster...but then i realized it was someone else on the range...

    :P

  • nice shootin tex

  • why is this society sick and what society do you propose is better?

  • I like the society you live in brother,...nice shooting.

  • It would seem that Ametrida goes from gun video to gun video saying that society is sick (I've seen them with the same complaint on other videos)... Not quite sure where their logic is on this one...

  • Why is it sick? I'm a long time Democrat, but I'm also a long time firearms enthusiast. We aren't the people who kill others with guns but we always get the blame for society's woes. I just bought a Sigma myself and it's a good gun for the price.

  • For MANY criminal, it would be a kid game to hit you and get your new toy... then the rest of US would have to suffer the consequences.

  • I was a soldier for eight years, 11 bravo. I'd like to see the criminal who would disarm me. Moron.

  • We are all sure you are a BRAVE guy, Moron. An US hero! That very immature way of thinking is what allow criminals to get weapons from people like you. That way of thinking is a SHAME for the US, but there is hope: most people voted Obama. Bye little soldier = puppet of politicians (even if you do not know it)

  • I voted for Obama. If you look at my profile you'll realize I'm black. I don't profess to be any kind of hero, but I spent eight years in the infantry, I have some live fire experience, and I certainly don't believe the average criminal could take my gun away as you seem to think. Why do you dislike Americans so much? And if you're anti-gun why watch a video of a guy shooting?

  • I do not dislike US citizens. FYI, Americans applies to Mexicans, Guatemalans, Costaricans, Panamanians, Venezuelans, Colombians, Uruguayan, Paraguayans, Chileans, Brazilians, Ecuadorians, Peruvians, etc etc etc. NOT TO PPL FROM THE USA ONLY. My point is that civilians carrying around guns are a danger for all others, even if you are Rambo.

  • And why do I watch this video: not your business; however, I will tell you. NO, I became bored.... maybe later.

  • I understand your concern. But don't you think it's better than outlawing concealed carry as then only outlaws will be carrying? My original point was you have nothing to fear from the large majority of firearms enthusiasts. The criminal with the gun is the problem. I personally don't carry a firearm on the streets, even though I have the permit to do so. I think you're condemning people who are interested in guns out of hand. Just my opinion. Peace.

  • you make no sense why don't we outlaw cars then? far more people die from drunk drivers and car accidents every year then from guns, lets just outlaw everything then nobody will die, guns are a hobby to many people and outlawing them is not the answer, guns are illegal any many country's and surprise most of those country's crime rate is higher then ours, criminals will still have them but we wont.

  • Cars are absolutely necessary, guns are not. Guns are a hobby quit dangerous for many of the people who do not practice it. Most of the people killed every year comes from killers who got a gun from silly "brave" guys owning a gun legally. You do not need to work hard to understand that by your own. I won't help you again.

  • Canada has more guns per person then the united states does with far less crime, so how do you figure guns are the problem? criminals will have guns whether they are banned or not but we will not, how can we be a free nation if we make everything illegal? I am sick of our rights being taken away one at a time, people are making dog breeds illegal for Christ sake!

  • Of course, in Canada are far fewer crminals in all context, and much less crazy situations. Most of the childs killing the rest of their class are from the US, and getting the killer gun from daddy, who thinks he has the right to have the gun.

Again, read: Most of the people killed every year comes from killers who got a gun from silly "brave" guys owning a gun legally.

  • oh yea and what does owning a gun have to do with being brave? its a hobby for most and a way of putting food on the table for others and works well for protection in your home well see how you think when your wife gets raped your kids throat slit while you watch and you have nothing to defend your family because you hate guns.

  • hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah NO COMMENTS dude.

  • the problem is the gun owners not the guns it is a law to have your guns secured its people who break this law and leave guns laying around that have the problems you are talking about most of these can be fixed with a 800 pound fire proof safe which every gun owner should have, either way you will still believe what you want and I will believe what i want so no point in this conversation.

  • Wrong again. Guns are quit particular, you cannot manage gun possession as you would treat the possession of cars, shoes, sodas, and tvs. Although this is obvious, you cannot see that. Anyway, at least your final sentences makes sense: this conversiation is pointless (unfortunately for people that suffer the consequences of guns available in the huge mall, this country, for some $).

  • Wrong about what the chances of getting guns stolen when you have them in a safe is very rare so whats your point?

  • Facts. Kids killing classmates in the US because daddy thinks LIKE YOU DO (respect to, for example: "I have rights to have a gun")!!!

  • Facts- Americans have always had the right to own a gun because we dont live with a dictator and are not a communist country! Fact -communists like you are trying to change that. Facts- Kids do kill kids although it doesnt happen very often how about people become better fucking parents and stop blaming it on other shit.

  • Very WRONG again. Communism/ capitalisms is one think, not related to gun/gun control. I understand that for poorly educated people it is better to simplify situations like saying: someone against guns = communism. However, that is not my case. Since it is evident you are controlled by your imagination (calling me communist, when communism and socialism are two things that I truly hate), I cannot keep a discussion with you. I mean, it is hard to discuss with a crazy person who made up stuff.

  • where are you from? US?

  • LOL!!! typical attitude. Then, you put a label on the other person because of your prejudgments. Do not be silly.

  • Get serious man, I was trying to talk to you like a human being, you are the one putting on labels.

  • @Ametrida You sound like a 5-year old kid. As far as your "degree", where did you obtain it? I have read nearly all of your comments, and you honestly sound like a 10 year old. You say your degree is in molecular phylogenetics, which means your basically an evolutionary geneticist. I've never, in my life, heard an educated man speak in such a way...I think you're a posing-ass troll...Good day to you sir.

  • @rpsetser LOL hahahahahahahahahaha I love when ppl become crazy mad with my comments. You made my day, specially with the jail/bullet comment you made. LOL. I am 12 years old. LOL :) SUAZZZZZ

  • @Ametrida I hate to ruin your day...I'm not crazy or mad. I just think you're vastly uneducated. For all of the comments that you make about "stupid" citizens, I would think you be more intelligent. You live in a fantasy world. If you had ever owned a firearm, you would realize just how difficult it is for someone to "take" your firearm from you. Imagine coming into my home, having no idea of the layout, and being able to get to my gun before I do...Impossible.

  • @rpsetser Common sense is not common any more. Criminals would take your gun, too easily, just using their own guns, and then your toy is on the wrong hands, and you under the grounds, as many others because of ppl as stupid as you.

  • @Ametrida Again...your grammar is throwing me off. Are you saying that the people under that are dead are the reason I would die? If i'm deciphering this properly, you're saying that I would be in the ground(s), there's only one by the way, because of people as stupid as me. First off, I don't appreciate being called stupid. Ignorant...maybe. And stupid is a word that uneducated people use...there again I think you are. Are you saying that the people that are dead are the reason I am dead?

  • @Ametrida You know....it doesn't even matter. There are always going to be people who think guns are the root of all evil. What I have found is that people who are against guns have never really taken the time to educate themselves on the REAL problem. The real problem is that guns are available to everyone...EVEN CRAZY people. I think the true solution is to require psychiatric evaluations before owning a firearm. But then...what would that really solve?

  • Not possible, if someone approaches me and I feel eminent danger, I am going to draw my weapon. If I touch my weapon, someone is going to die. Now how does a dead man hit me and take my gun?

  • That is what every stupid with a gun think.

  • It is hard,The triger pull is about 10LB its just bcuz the gun dosen't have a safty pin or lock ...so bisecly the gun won't fire unless u mean it.

  • at 0:39 it looked like he kept shooting

  • Hey. That's H&H. I shoot there.

  • Im going to get a new trigger with a lighter pull on mine too its way to hard for good accuracy

  • When he holstered it I thought he fired it by mistake. lol.

  • same here haha i was like oh shit

  • I just picked up one similar to the one you are shooting here, very accurate, very precise.

  • Everyone that has a Sigma says they've got a ten-ton trigger pull and have to be lightened to be serviceable. What do you think?

  • I agree, mine is hard as shit to shoot too. Going to a gun show this weekend to see if i can have it loosened a little.

  • anticipating shots causes low shots i believe.

  • the hard trigger pull and the NO RAPID FIRE sign at the range cause slow shots too. but you may be right, i think i do anticipate the shot. i'm not sure how not to. i guess you just don't?

  • You can train yourself to keep your arms in the same position throughout the triggerpull so that anticipation dosn't mess your shot up. If you have a revolver you can try leaving several chambers unloaded and just practice like that untill you can clearly notice a reduction of movement in the gun during the trigger.

  • Yea first gun I ever shot. I'm fifteen and my dad has two of these, it's awesome.

  • The trigger pull is so heavy on my SW9VE. it took a while to get used to it.

  • yeah. I'm used to mine now. my next gun will definitely not be another sigma. it's a great starter gun, but thats about it. i wouldn't spend money on a second one

  • I understand what you mean. It's good to take it to your local gunsmith (if you live in New York like me, it's kinda hard to find unfortunately) you can have the trigger lightened

  • just shot my new SW9VE yesterday. good handgun. shoots a bit low though.

  • mine shot/shoots dead on

  • hows the kick with the SW9VE?

  • Not bad at all, very manageable.

  • I just bought one of these, my dad has the .40 and I have shot it. Can a gunsmith lighten the trigger pull?? Have you had any problems with it? I love the feel of the sigma as opposed to the BLOCK.

  • I think they can. One of my friends has the .40 and we go to a range quite a bit that has a gunsmith there. So we asked them if they could lighten the trigger and they guys said that they could. We haven't done it yet. The gunsmith closed at 5 and we were there at around 7 because the range didn't close till 9.

  • The guy behind the counter said that he wouldn't get a trigger job on a gun that you might conceal and carry. He said that if you ever have to use it out in public or whatever that at the court house they will take the gun apart and if they see that a trigger job was done that it doesn't look good to the jury.

  • That is one of the handguns I am considering purchasing. Thanks for this great demonstration. The advertising says 17+1 for this gun - is it actually 16+1?

  • Yeah, it's actually 16+1. where are you going to get it from?

  • I'm not sure it's the right one for me. I have arthritis in my hands and have been told that a 380acp might be a better choice - atleast for the range. If I were your age I would buy one in a heartbeat. I prefer supporting the small gunshops although I know the best deals are online.
