  • At 2:49 you say "if it pulls on both hands you should let up on both hands" which I agree with.

But at 2:40 you say "if it pulls on one hand pull back" this must be wrong, you should let off the brake to let that side of the wing fly.

  • @karltind No while on the ground in forward kiting if the glider rocks to the right then the left brake pressure will go up. So if it pulls on one hand, pull back. Glider goes right, pull left:). It's right but good question fine sir.

It's right but good question fine sir. Then if the glider goes right your right brake will go limp. If it goes light, let up. Don't want to be pulling brake on the side it is going to.

  • @imasuper0308 That is true, if it rocks to the right pull left break and walk right until you are under the wing again.

Which I do but have not realy thought about it until now. Thanks

  • @christmas. Does this mean when entering a thermal and the riser pulls up (and brake pressure on that side increases) you should pull more brake that side an ease up on the other side?

  • @Olfartable Yes. The only difference is that you wouldn't release pressure completely as you would with minimal air on the ground. Not something you will need to think about though because the reflexes will be correct if you practice on the ground.

  • Wish you'd do a few more tutorials Dell, I learned more in these 4 minutes than in 4 months of instruction. Serious.

  • @OnZMark Actually I'm editing one up right now:).

  • super radical

  • Cool! ;) will try this. Might be helpfull. I`m still arguing with my pg. And it drags me over the fields... but maybe this will help us come to an agreement ;) Nice video

  • very good, I'll try next time, thanks

  • What a great way to show complete control and also an excellent idea for practicing. They have always told us that we must look at the wing, and that is true at the beginning to confirm that it is properly deployed, or as you lift it during takeoff, but then the feeling 'with your eyes closed' is a superior way of knowing what your wing is doing and thus of controlling it. Thanks!!

  • thank you

  • 無心

  • Génial mais.....,dommage que mon anglais soit approximatif.

    Merci pour ce partage intelligent.

  • Hele goede uitleg hoe een parapente te beheersen.Thx.

  • imasuper you make a very good job AAA+++ and your video helped me even If I fly. If I were in your country I would like take some lessons with you !!! If you come to Reunion Island please contact me !

  • That looks like a beautiful Island, what a great spot to fly around. I'm already going to start dreaming of flying down into some of those caverns with the waterfalls. Is it a communist country? For example, can you own a gun?

  • Not communist, you can come as you like, possibly only a visa or maybe an invitation from a resident if no more than 15 days. it's french. We can own gun but only 22LR or some hunting gun, others are eavily regulated. But you could bring or send a real revolver for me I will pay half your plane ticket !! the best is the inside of reunion but possibly you are only be able to go that place it's said the conditions are not so stable, alyse wind and thermals.west coast is protected.

  • nice consistent wind like that sure helps

  • Excellent. Thanks for posting.

  • Is this at point of the mountain?

  • Super! Something similar for hang gliding?

  • Hmm, ok next time I'm out I'll have to shoot a little HG video:).

  • Very important for flying that mu shin! Its key to safe flying. Always practice kiting and develop and mentain the feel and reaction.Spread this video around.
