Omg this is awesome!!!

I've always wanted to do a cosplays because:

(a) all my fave characters have an accent(hint:you!!) and I'm too scared I'll mess it up,

(b) I'm not brazen enough to go around waving a knife/gun/thing in people's faces shouting,"I am ____"

(c)all my fave characters are boys(hint: you again!!)

(d) my dad won't take me any were

(e) I know lots of people like to interact with other people that are in the same anime but they don't know outside of the convention,and I'm not good

@vampirechic101536 To answer (d): Anime cons are for the most part full of fun people who are totally open to conversing with/meeting new people. Remember, you all have a common ground, anime!

@vampirechic101536 As for the other issues... It took em ten minutes to leave the hotel bathroom in my first cosplay at my frist con in 2005, and I've loved it ever since. Accents and comfort levels will come with time, as will skill with making/assembling costumes. (Believe me, my first few are SHAMEFUL compared to what I do now.

@vampirechic101536 Above all, have fun with it, ignore the cosplay divas who think they're better than everyone and find the fun people. I suggest searching your area for an anime fan club, you're bound to find at least one cosplayer! Good luck!
