307 's are good engines.I used to have a 72 pontiac ventura.It had well over 200,000 miles on it. it ran perfect. didnt smoke or use oil.I gassed up one time and filled the tank. the gas had gotten contaiminated with water. no matter what id did. i could nerver get it running right after that

thts clean,i jus got a 70 chevelle with a 307,but im hopin my dad will let me get his 396 for it
