They are Lenovo -- Lenovo is the company that acquired IBM's Personal Computing Division. Lenovo has several headquarters -- Beijing and Raleigh, North Carolina.
I don't see why not... it is a software program that ties into the built-in Web cam. However... imo... there really isn't any need to uninstall... you can still login normally when the PC starts.
Not too sure about the Sony. It's hard to do an apples-to-apples comparison between the IdeaPad U110 and ThinkPad X300 as the U110 is an 11-inch consumer PC and the X300 is a 13-inch PC geared towards SERIOUS mobile business users. Some differences are the X300 has a DVD drive installed whereas the U110 comes shipped with a very lightweight, compact external DVD drive. The U110 also has facial recognition, which is kind of cool. It also weighs 2.4lbs., has 3 USB ports and a 6 in 1 media reader.
ye angrez saale zameen par kyu baith jaate hai har kaam mai? table nahi hai iske ghar mai? kaun saala zameen pe laptop rakh kar kaam karta hai? seriously.
mac looks "way better" for no reason. you only think it looks better cause you think that lenovo is a chinese brand, and thus "should look uglier" and that mac is made by some white ppl thus "should look better". You don't have to admit, but it's true.
I think its because it uses the more beefy and powerful Intel LV (low voltage) processors instead of ULV (ultra low voltage) processors in the Vaio TZ and Asus U2E, also 11.1" WXGA laptops like this one.
So it has to be thicker to fit in the more powerful chipset and processor.
I wonder how its battery life compares to the Vaio TZ since I have it. This notebook looks nice, I like that floral pattern above the keyboard.
Meh. Fairly nice design. I like the hinge design, the grillwork on the bottom, and the scrollwork lights along the top edge of the keyboard. But no built-in slot-loady dvd/bluray? With no optical drive, why is it so damn THICK?

Not that looks count; from one ugly person to another, I'm sure... ;D
Booshibonton 3 years ago
you wouldn't say that air looks better if you know that the one who made air is just some retarded ugly looking nerd.

they should have put it between this priceclass(1899) and netbooks a la eee pc @ 500 dollar, so about 1200 dollars would be great
