I don't understand why ANCIENT's 3rd full length, Mad Grandiose Bloodfiends, is so underrated. It is the second black metal album I bought and I bought it because it got a good review in Finnish music magazine Soundi. And after hearing the album I agreed with the reviewer; it is really dark & evil sounding album. The songs are also very varying with each other.
