I just assumed it,okay. Besides, every other game gets repetitive every now and then. Take a shooting game for example. If you play that game, you know that all you ever do is shoot. Yeah maybe you got some melee attacks, side quests, new weapons, cool cutscenes and characters and armors, etc... but it will still be shooting. If you play that like every time, you'll get bored of it cause thats all you ever do in that game. I dont know about you but thats just my opinion.

Anyone who believes that this game shouldn't have MP, is bat-shit crazy. I agree, every game doesn't need MP, Assassins Creed being one that I wouldn't have been mad if they had "not" included it. But this game is perfect for multiplayer, and I think, would have taken multiplayer to a whole other level. This doesn't mean I don't like the game, but sliding around with morphing hand guns, seems like something multiplayer gaming needs.

In Halo you have multiple characters with a storyline, personality and whatever.

In this you have ONE epic guy, in ONE epic suit fighting with allies that don't even like him. (Minus the girl and his bosses(?)

The only way multiplayer will work in this game is if in Vanquish 2 that add 1 or 3 other suits - making it possible to go co-op online.

People need to actually think before they run around screaming "multiplayer" when there is no basis for it.

@Grim8701 Ofcourse, in Vanquish 2 they could evolved and have made 1000000s of suits, but that would defeat the purpose and the epicness. Maybe add 1-3 more characters that have a similar suit that you gotta work with+ a tight friendship. The suits would be to be different in some way, they can't be the same as Sam's in looks and what it does.. it would defeat another purpose.

I'm speaking as if there is a Vanquish 2. Lol, I hope there is though x.X

Maybe a 30/40 Dollar/Pound DLC? Haha.

I understand the part about looks but when you really look at it, fps like halo and couple others, you can select different characters but at the end of the day, these characters are basically clones, the only difference is that you can customize you character in halo to look different, but everyone still have the same running speed, health, aiming ability etc.

THAT'S THE POINT. In Vanquish there is only ONE suit, and there is only ONE suit for a reason. If they added hundreds or even more than 10 they would defeat the purpose of the whole game. If they suddenly made you play as normal humans online another purpose is ruined.

Zone of the Enders is based around 2 main mechs and other lessers, the whole game has mechs.

also look at assassins creed brotherhood, you can select different characters, but they all have the same ability, no advantages whatsoever, they are clones, only difference is looks. so there really isnt a reason, why they can't be multiplayer in vanquish. If anything, they can allow you to like customize you character a bit for multiplayer, like add different helmet or, change color of the suit etc

If you take out the suit you are taking out a core part of the game.

Vanquish's gameplay mechanics style IS based around the suit.

What games out there have multiplayer gameplay mechanics that are completely different from the story's gameplay mechanics? NONE. They all keep their gameplay mechanics and add a few games that people to get competetive on and whatever else. Same with Co-op style(bit different).

yeh but i still think it would have been possible for multiplayer. zone of the enders focused around one mech called jehuty, and in the multiplayer you could play as other suits which you battled in the game, and these mechs were none like the main mech which was called jehuty.

They can't and shouldn't add multiplayer in Vanquish just because "aww people want it".

There should be a BASIS for multiplayer like in every other game that has multiplayer. That's all I'm saying.

Looks like a fairly typical TPS with all the TPS tropes, staples and corny dialogue. I'm not saying this is going to be a bad game, but right now it looks totally unremarkable and it doesn't have anything going for it.
