  • Andrea de Crasheris! XD

  • That's why he was called Andrea de Crasheris

  • Did you guys saw what Mansell DID??????

  • This is the sort of stuff I loved hearing from James Hunt, and for me the best duo commentators ever. He was never afraid to tell us his opinion, and I believe the best of the drivers to end up as commentator with Murray.

  • I miss the good old days with James Hunt & Murray Walker , the commentators these days for F1 are boringZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...

  • Hunt always used to lay into the back markers. I loved it!

  • "and look at this idiot" fucking LOL

  • hunt the shunt..,was his name i believe...

  • @1WehrmachtSoldat You believed correctly. Could do with more characters like shunty in F1 now.

  • De cesaris... Record holder for the most crashes in f1 history. Worst driver in history, but the luckiest man alive

  • Caused Nannini's retirement during the same race too.

  • so i guess andrea de cesaris has made many acounts and has duplicated himself and he is the anoying person in f1 2010 or 2011 that hits you to stop you from passing them ;)but hits you only joking but then again

  • Ok so let's play the James Hunt Disgrace Game.

Just find an old Formula One video and count how many times James Hunt says the word 'Disgraceful' or 'Disgrace' etc..

  • @superdowg316Videos Can't do... My calculator stops at 8 digits<

  • @Barnakos LOL XDD I'm sorry but you have failed the James Hunt Disgrace Game XDD Better luck next time and finding a better calculator

  • Man, Hunt just died way too young =(...He truly was a legend.

  • I read that De Cesaris destroyed 14 (fourteen!!!) McLarens in 1 (one!!!) season ...

  • @X8X8X8X8X8X8X8X8X8X I've read that he had 21 accidents and got 8 times retired in the 1981 season

He took part in 14 of 16 races and did not started in the Nederlands because the team didn't wanted to see a car crashing again

Sorry for possible grammar mistakes but I'm german, so don't worry.

  • @FreekyFreezer

    WTF ...

But sports need special personalities, so it´s important to have somebody like him.

    I´m German too, btw =)

  • @X8X8X8X8X8X8X8X8X8X Nice!

And sure sports need. It's like "what would you do if Hamilton doesn't crash every third race?" (btw i'm not hamilton hater, oh no I love how he drives...as long as he doesn't make silly crashes like Spa this year)

  • @FreekyFreezer I'm not a fan of hamilton's driving this year , but you are right the sport is better with him even when he is driving badly. Adds to the drama and excitement!

  • @X8X8X8X8X8X8X8X8X8X He did... In fact, he destoyed 18 car in all the 1981 season for McLaren (include test driving). The thing is De Cesaris was not constant, really far from it... He could get 4 really wonderful lap in a row, hell he was even able to take the pole in an Alfa-romeo at the USA West GP in 1982! Talk about a good lap! However, just right after, he would do some of the crappiest lap you ever seen in F1 (he finish the USA west gp of 1982 outside the track).

  • @therrydicule

That´s talent I think: Driving fast, but practicing makes good drivers since the 60s...

Hawthorn and Collins are the best examples for sucessfull "fun"-driving in the 50s.

I don´t think I´d be able to drive constant, I would rather overtake ´round the outside or end in the gravel =)

  • He was known as Andrea De Crasheris for a reason!!!!

  • Andrea De Cesaris was known for being difficult and a complete ass on the racetrack. He caused a lot of incidents when he didn't yield whilst being lapped.

  • James Hunt was such a legendary character as a driver and a commentator. I wish he was still there commentating F1.

  • Look At This Idiot!

  • James sitting on the fence, as ever!

  • De Crasheris!!

  • Becaauuuoooooopppps!!!

  • DeCesaris. Human Chicane.

  • The only reason de Cesaris stayed in Grand Prix racing for so long was his dad was filthy rich with Marlboro money. He was quick at times, but like most Italian drivers, erratic. You won't see an Italian World Champion again.

  • @Dietpepsivanilla well, he had some podiums :P

  • He was known as de Crasheris !!!

  • Mansell was an idiot too.He pretended to pass when he was too far.

  • @bufalobilll he was lapping de cesaris so de cesaris was supposed to let him through, you idiot

  • @l0dgey

De Cesaris probably didn't see him...

    Thanks for the idiot.

    Bye

  • @bufalobilll "he pretended to pass when he was too far" .....?????

    your the idiot!

  • @flipsidedogchop

    Ohhh...

    Don't break my balls!

Andrea didn't see him and Mansell didn't do something to let him see...

    This is MY idea,.

You have another opininon? No problem...Dear idiots!

  • @bufalobilll didnt see him?!

did the dallara not have mirrors? fucking idiot!

  • @flipsidedogchop

A pilot is always looking at the mirrors? Not sometimes, and probably in that case,in front of him?

Mansell trusted too much on Andrea.

    Dear,super,fantastic idiot!

    Bye

  • @bufalobilll A DRIVER should check his mirrors when theres blue fucking flags waving, fuckface!

    thank fuck you dont drive!!!

  • @flipsidedogchop

You ignore at that time it was much more difficult to lap than today and blue flags probably didn't exist yet.

Do you see them in the video?

Check out also older videos.Example,Regagzzoni and Villeneuve at Long Beach.

  • @bufalobilll did you just say "you ignore flags"?!

Lets look at the facts right, DeCesaris is being lapped by a Ferrari at Imola, theres blue flags waving, he has mirrors, Mansell is CLEARLY attempting to lap him on that corner & EVERYONE agrees this was DeCesaris (yet again) being oblivious to whats going on......and you blame Mansell??

i can only assume your a retard or actually Andrea DeCesaris himself....or both!

  • @flipsidedogchop

I didn't see all the video and at the end,i see now, there was a clear blue flag, but when Mansell attempted to pass Andrea for the first time the flag was very hide on the left,i didn't notice it.In my opinion he didn't see it.

I was wrong to call Mansell "idiot" but i think others were wrong too, calling Andrea idiot.Races are races...and that things can happen.

Mansell wasn't an example of the correct pilot too...

  • So harsh yet so true XD

  • RIP James Hunt.

  • Pretty astounded that Mansell recovered the car there.

  • De Cesaris... I really don´t know haow to say this...

    U are a idiot.

  • AAAAnd look this idiot LOL!

  • Once de Cesaris said he said someone´s engine fire in his mirrors...Senna,who was closely present quoted "You know, how to use them?"

  • @AlejjSi sorry...he saw someone´s engine fire...

  • That explains the nick "Andrea de Crasharis"

  • @MrIrishlogic Murray speaks very highly of him and pays his respects by being honest about working with Hunt rather than behaving like most people do when some one dies and acting like the sun shone out of his arse. Much in the spirit of Hunt himself.

  • I'd love to have heard Hunt calling HRT's this season.

  • Hehe Mansell rightly fed up with it...but who would have even think that Mansell would do exactly the same to Irvine in 1995?

  • @AlejjSi by the way, Walker and Hunt on Eurosport?

  • @AlejjSi Maybe Eurosport was legally allowed to broadcast BBC's transmission for the whole Europe.

  • @NickPatrick2 Well, I was thinking that John Watson and Allard Kallf (later ben Edwards) were commentating it in the 90´s...

  • The day before he did his usual manouver during practice or qualifying and put Alessandro Nannini in great danger down the straight after Tamburello, sending Nannini in the wall...if he didnt have Marlboro money, AdC would have been handled by one of the drivers or former car owners that he cost money.

  • Andrea de Cesaris. He took a long time to mature, but was very quick on his days. Towards the end of his career, he had become a respected driver, but I definitely wouldn't rate him as a top-class driver. Still, it does take some talent to get in F1, let alone stay there for 14 years. In the same lapse of time, Jarno Trulli has now broken Andrea's record for the greatest amount of first lap retirements in one's career.

  • @tommykl Some people don't get that long to mature - AdC was very lucky to survive & probably had rich friends in high places!

  • You know you sucked as an F1 driver when most of your YT vids have something to do with you crashing.

  • @Zoomer30 Senna?

  • @Zoomer30 To be fair, he did get several podiums in his career, and at least one pole position (in an Alfa that wasn't the fastest car out there).

  • prat

  • Hunt did later say one time that De Cesaris is one of the few drivers that truly know how to overtake.

  • James Hunt ...Go love him.

  • I wanna kno if backmarkers look at their mirrors back then smh

  • de Cesaris, the original "Rolling Chicane".

  • OOOPSSS!!!

  • @federicozep 0:27 LOL look this idiot!! XD

  • Malade!

  • Who HASN'T called de Cesaris an idiot?

  • @andrewlawrence2209 I'd guess Hamilton, judging by last season's 'performance' he's aspiring to be like him.

  • God I miss James Hunt.

They just don't do commentators like him nowadays sadly.

  • Carlson this is were you got your trivia q's from nice he really did some good wrecks and that was stupid!

  • I think you mean Andrea De Crasheris!

  • De Crasheris

  • james hunt. legend. fact

  • De Cesaris, occasionally fast, not a genius for sure

  • @mellilore yeah, id say like a bullet, fast but f**king dangerous!

  • James didn't think much of the Italians. de Cesaris, Patrese, Pirro.

  • Spot on from James Hunt. I reckon de Cesaris and Philippe Alliot must be the worst GP drivers of all time

  • @dudleytim123 Definitely not. You can argue he's been involved in some ridiculous incidents created by his own sillyness, but you can't pretend he was lame at the wheel, he's had very strong performances sometimes, especially with Alfa.

I doubt anyone can take part to more than 200 GPs despite being clueless at the wheel anyway. It requires some skills, and if you don't have them you probably wouldn't ever get to F1, even at that time with 20+ teams involved.

  • @GreyBull88 I agree De Cesaris had some talent and was quick on his good days especially at places like Spa. However he never produced this form on anything like a consistent enough basis. Also he used to smash his car up so often that even his own mechanics refused to repair his car at one stage. I believe one of the reasons he managed to stay in F1 for so long was because he was related to a top executive at Malboro who was at the time F1's main sponsor.

  • @dudleytim123 de Cesaris and Alliot? What about Delatraz, Rosset, Inoue, Mazzacane and Tarso Marques? I do not agree with you man

  • @superd00d89 I would probably add Salazar to that list as well. I reckon De Cesaris because of the way that he used to crash so often and the way that he used to interfere with the race leaders. Some of the moves he has pulled whilst being lapped have been an utter disgrace and would definitely not be allowed in F1 today.

  • @dudleytim123 Maybe not the worst, but CERTAINLY those 2 are most accident prone drivers ever.

  • @ClassicF1Vids1 In terms of speed I agree that my good friends Alliot and De Cesaris are not the worst of all time. I think I would give that honour to the awesome Jean-Denis Delatraz!!! However, in terms of on track behaviour and tendancy to crash Alliot and De Cesaris are definitely the worst. I think you have to ask what makes a driver the worst of all time... being slow like Delatraz or crashing at almost every race and putting other drivers lives in danger like Alliot and De Cesaris?

  • @dudleytim123 Oh absolutely. Spot on comment. Deletraz was simply not a talented driver, he was so out of his depth in Formula One.

  • Curious: What are Murray and James doing on Eurosport!?

  • Andrea knew Nigel was there for sure. or he has terrible peripheral vision.

  • @ImmortalSenna Well, I guess the second one is possible since he have a lots of weird facial movement. But he did mature a bit after being at Ligier but ending up with really bad cars (Minardi, Rial) or simply unreliable (Brabham)...

  • de cesaris = pish

  • Oh those backmarkers...
