  • @JuanMusika1990

you have an old version of photoshop, so you can do it in this way:

go on -image -adjustments -hue/saturation and decrease the saturation

  • Thanks for the Vid. It helped me. :)

  • @ShadowTutorial Dude those cuttons an a video are **** annoying take them off. You cant even pause a video desently cuz its get intupred by your link!

  • @Xoireqe

click on hide annotations (the red square)

  • @ShadowTutorials :O didnt know that that was possible xD

  • @Xoireqe

    :)

  • @Xoireqe or the pause button...

  • i need english.

  • try to use layer mask instead of eraser tool ...you can do repair later if something go wrong ;)

  • is this for cs5 because its not working for me

  • @joleena this is not a difficult task. cs5 does more than the others so no need to ask if this works for cs5.

  • This tut is very good, to select what you wanted to keep, you could also make a selection with the lasso tool than make a new layer with this selection.

  • can you share the basic tutorials for beginners of CS3 in a slow mode of explanations? i can't get in a fast way.thanks.

  • i like the tutorial, even though there are a million ways to do that, and this probably isn't the least complicated solution. still; the tutorial is well made and not too complicated for an amateur to understand.

  • Didn't even work. -__-

  • @BratzCity because you didnt do it right. you have to have the coloured layer on top. this is one of the easiest things to do in photoshoip i cant believe theres so many people who just cant figure it out.

  • Comment removed

  • Perfecto, this is what I was searching for. Thx for the it.

  • awesome :D

  • I use cs3 on mac but i think this would work perfectly with anyone on windows.

First take your magnatic laso tool and go around the object then double click it after you have went around it.

When u see the matching ants (the little dash things) click on Hue & Staturation

    (should be in image tab)

When u see the middle dial turn it all the way down and poof only ur background is black.

  • its easier if you leave the background colorful, make the layer b&w and erase just the area that you want to be colorful !

  • I tuoi Tutorial sono davvero elementari... nulla di interessante per chi è già un pò pratico di Photoshop...

  • thanks alor... it's a very simple tutorial but very effective... :D

  • Thanks it helped!

  • Thanks , very useful vid

  • amigo u can do this with history brush option also - which save time and its much easier than this -- well nice effort

    thanks a million.

hope to learn more from you.

  • THANNKKSS MAANN (Y)

  • haha i used pen tool instead of eraser

  • you can make a invert fast selection and with only a click can erase all except the lemmon

  • There are a variety of ways to do this, none of them right or wrong, just personal preferance, but you kept it simple and straight forward. Just a shame you didn`t mention flatten image at the end. Even so a good tutorial.

  • why didn't you select the orange is the middle, reversed the seletion and press alt+shift+ctrl+b?

  • @andregerbaulet

because this is a tutorial for everyone and I have to show all the procedure

  • awsome :)

  • can i do this with Cs2?

  • thanks

  • ok good tutorial but how do i open two different images into the layers.

  • @forkane69

import the second image like you did for the first one, then use the move tool to move the second image inside the first

  • I have photoshop 7.0 Can I do this with it

  • @sirdon1229

yes, but you must add the black & white effect in another way:

    go on

    -image

    -hue/saturation

    and decrease the saturation

  • Cool.

  • visit for basic step by step photoshop tutorials

    training4free.co.cc/Basic%20training/Basic%20training.html

  • But good job dude. Keep up the good work. I learnt how to add rain effects thanks to you. Your doing a great job.

  • There's a much easier way. Layer via copy the area you wanna keep colored and then make the background layer B&W.

  • thanks for teaching us true video its the best way to learn it when you are home alone . there is only one thing missing the end haw we have to save the two layers in one , well it may be funny and stupid but i do not know :) thx

  • @picasso800 select both layers,ryt click, merge

    ???

  • @thuglivin10 now it stand like psd file i want it again like jpg :) i did that you told , so now i have one layer.

  • @picasso800

    go on

    - file

    - save as

and you can choose the format

  • @ShadowTutorials Thx dude :)
