This is my favorite movie. I love the acting & how real it is. i feel like im right there with them. this movie is relatable to alot of ppl espseially those who grew up in nyc /similar neighborhoods back in the day. even tho it was made less then 10 yrs ago alot has changed and this was before facebook, twitter, texting, smart phones & all that other bullshit. i wish it was still like this everything was so raw back then. ahh but atleast i can watch this movie & come back to this<3

I love these intimate slice of life movies which take you deep into ones world and the people in their lives, where by the end, you feel like you know these characters, their ways, and their values. And the dialogue is so great its almost as though the conversations were overheard ! A fine movie, with fine performances by everyone.

Damn, i recently saw this movie & i immediately fell in love with it. Not only because Victor is flaming hot but also because their grandma looks almost identical to my own grandma! Lol I automatically felt the connection with it because my Dominican family is the same. There are numerous predominantly ethnic neighborhoods in the city in which people share personal yet similar experiences. Most of us share this urban experience regardless of our backgrounds. It's a beautiful movie and instead of getting all worked up over stupidity, you should value the movie's objective.
