  • 1:26 ... LOL

    Seriously, Herb Rules¡¡¡

  • tari tari tari

  • This beautiful song was in the 70s often on German radio. Connect to wonderful memories of my childhood in that time. I'm very happy at that time heard, so it's still me. Such a great musician like Herb Alpert, unfortunately, today we find hardly any. Also I really like this video, it exudes a lot of joy. Thanks for uploading - all the best from Germany.

  • is that kris jenner in the yellow pants?

  • muy lindo video y la musica tambien

  • Olvera St. in Downtown L.A. never looked so good. Go there now and it's crammed with dealers that sell junk.

  • Arthur from King of Queens sent me here.

  • Bob Mills and Fighting Talk brought me here

  • ARTHUR SPOONER ! <3

  • WHAT IS THIS IN DONT

  • Contrast the dancing here versus today's videos with scantily clad whores and hoes as dancers.

  • @gaspo2180 That makes no sense at all. This is full of scantily-clad girls, and includes a number of upskirts (which I do NOT believe was an accident!) It's great music, but the dirty dancing was quite alive back then! Really, it has always existed in show biz, but it wasn't widely accepted until recently.

  • Toot, Toot!!

  • So much butts

  • @felux10 Yum Bum!!!

  • OK, was this a spoof or the real thing? Love the music, but the dancing . . . OMG!

  • @blbzrbub Gotta remember this was in the 1960s...today the Gals would be half naked and doing the grind!

  • @parkman35 And The two gay guys would be MORE flamboyant.

  • this video was shot in downtown L.As Olvera street

  • Oh boy, do I remember 60's tackiness :D

  • that wasn't filmed in Tiajuana it was filmed in Downtown LA at the Mexican section of town

  • And they dance like that without drugs!

  • tijuana must have been a nice place to visit in the 60s

  • Whenever I listen to this song I keep anticipating someone shouting my name and saying you just won a new car.

  • thats sum austin powers shit

  • Came for the music.

    Stayed for the seizure montage.

  • @geoff0293475023945 After I read your comment I couldn't watch the video without crying tears of laughter.

  • Goddamnit, white people.

  • @Chilledhouse

LMFAO........... yep.. pretending to be Mexican.......... go figure. Then , again, ya have to realize.. Herb Alpert is actually of Romanian Jewish descent.........

  • woah hello 0:17

  • Why did I not live in the 1960's?!

  • @miz200 Be happy, if you lived in the 60's you would've probably never heard of this song.

  • white people ಠ_ಠ

  • Nothing has changed here in Mexico since then. Maybe just a few decapitated heads scattered on the floor.

  • What a phenominal song/tune, dancers that were Perfect for that era, from a wonderful time sadly we will never witness again.

    Bravo! : )

  • Hello manchesterunited1991 The sheet music for this song is available from .music44.com in Indianapolis USA. - CHEERS from New Zealand.

  • Hello alexdelrio45 Yes I fully agree the 60s was a great time, this song has a awesome - feels good to be alive sprit about it, and the chicks sure have the WOW factor .

  • @TheShegee DAMN STRAIGHT ON THAT...THE GAL WITH THE SEXY YELLOW PANT REMINDS ME OF A FORMER LADY I HAD A LOVELY EXCURSION WITH YRS AGO...

SHE DEFINETELY HAS THE MOST CONSISTENT ENERGY IN THE VIDEO; PROBABLY THE SAME OFF CAMERA AS WELL, SINCE DANCERS HAVE HIGH ESTROGEN LEVELS..

IT IS WOMEN LIKE THAT, THEIR WHOLESUM DEMEANOUR, IS WHAT TRULY ATTRACTS ME, AS I'M SURE OTHER MEN FROM THAT TIME.

DESPITE ALL THE FEMINIST BS GOING ON, I STILL LOVE WOMEN, BUT I AM JUST MORE CAREFUL NOW.

  • veryy gooood!

does someone know, where i can get the sheets for trumpet for playing that song??

  • The 1960s, what a time it was!! Everybody is so stressed out today! Sure, we had problems back in the 1960s, but it seemed that people cared more about each other then they do now. I love this song and the way the women dance in this video! Thanks for posting.

  • with all of that, i'm amazed how we won the cold war

  • Best use of a car horn in a song of all time.

  • As a trumpet player, i love this, what a quality tune, and the video has more ass than a Beyonce/J-Lo collaboration :)

  • my mom had this album. she played it all the time. i wonder where these ppl are today?

  • Whoever stumbles upon this video is in for a real treat! It's so ... American! (and thus it's almost embarrassing - except that it's so bad that it's just so good (and thus, American all over again). We are a proud people. What will people say in 2066? For some unknown reason, I am suddenly wanting to chew spearmint gum and wear a poncho.

  • Sensacional!

  • so bad it's good!

  • Lord or whoever help him.. !

  • Lord help me, why am I so turned on by this?

  • This is melody of Russian folklore song "Samara-small town" known at least since 19th century!

  • Einfach nur geil diese musik

  • These dance performance is from another planet

  • Who are these dancers, especially the blonde who looks like sexy Barbara Eden? They're hilarious. A couple of times it looks like they all farted and then they hold their nose with one hand and wave at the air with the other to get rid of the smell...LOL.

  • I remember this song from when I was a kid, they used to play it at a local store in Sydney, boy am I old!

  • This is only excusable by the effects of LSD...

  • damn it, I'm old!!!!!

  • How many head and neck injuries were sustained by the dancers during the making of this?

  • fucking love this song. it makes me wanna dance^^

  • Can't tell if this is totally gay or just silly...

  • i want that kind of show at my funeral!

  • @gronkomat Me too! :D

  • @gronkomat I want this played at my funeral , would it be bad taste ?

  • @commodore665 It's your funeral....go for it!

  • @parkman35 On second thought , I have just watched Spanish Flea and I want that instead .

  • @gronkomat ditto!!! with plenty of Patron flowing!! Salud!

  • in which city was this movie filmed??? i visit every my uncle in san diego.... is it really tijuana??? Thomas from Hamburg

  • @marmasale I think this is Olvira St. Los Angeles California

  • @marmasale Nope, like Alexdelrio said, this was filmed on Olvera St in Los angeles. Still looks exactly the same basically.

  • The worst choreography ever

  • and this... is when your smokin too much weed.. :D

  • Best use of a 30's car horn in a song EVER.

  • Now we know where the "white people can't dance" stories started.

  • I love this song/video!!! Can't get enough of it!!!!

  • daniel madjar

  • daniel madjar

  • it's so goofy that it's great - love this stuff as corny as it is!!!!

  • omg the music is grat 6/5* xD

But the dancing is horrible xDD

but all in all its great

  • @1bis16 the choreography is "of the day" so .... take it for what it is.. i am sure that ppl will look back at dancing from this time and laugh.. Music, fashion, dance is subjective and changes with the generations. It's reflective of the times..

  • DADADADADADADADAAA DADADADADADAAAA DADADADADADA DAADAADADAAA

  • lol remember those ponchos???

  • Great song, upbeat, just the song if you are feeling a bit down to cheer you up.

  • most stupid dance ever... but still lovable :D

  • @rymbleue > Yah you're right ! I love dancing and that was the most stupid dance i've ever seen... very hilarious.... though i agree with you... they were still cute and lovable :)))

  • I LOVE the video ;)

  • i wanna move there

  • Comment removed

  • 0:53 ... xD

  • I love that song :-) It´s the Arthur Spooner gymnastics song :-)

    thanx for posting ;-)

  • totally terrible...and I love it!

  • Fantastic. I remember this video from when I was a kid - the local TV station used to play it as a fill-in between programs.

  • @jmoul59 I remember those days too...when the local TV station would play videos like this between the Star Spangled Banner and the sign-off sermonette! Just kidding but only partially so...this video brings back so many great memories for me as a kid...my parents bought all of Herb Alpert's albums and I would listen to them until I wore them out.

  • Who says white people can't dance …except anyone watching this here video I mean.

  • Used to listen to all his albums-like Whipped Cream and Other Delights!!! I don't remember ever seeing the video to this before, but it sure looks like what they were doing at that time. I can't imagine somebody else doing one like this if it is not original! Very nostalgic-the one dancer reminds of Barbara Eden from "Jeannie" fame!

  • Great song, but seems like it isn't the real video of this song.

  • i love this song!

  • those were the days.i miss them very much

  • Filmed on beautiful Olvera Street in downtown LA!

  • I think this is a very clean..tasteful video..something you dont see much in music these days..thanx for posting it

  • hilarious
