hey quick question. does the r4sdhc save like an original ds game cartridge? Ex. if i was playing pokemon can i save the game as if it was the original game cartridge.
no it is not fake it is a simple clone of the original i bought one and all i had to do was find the right clone firm ware and it worked perfectfly fine

by blowing it's fuse. So, yes, the R4 clones are fake, in that, they are not made by the original team, but they function perfectly fine, even better than the original! I've heard of 2: The R4 III upgrade, and the R4 sdhc. I'd get the sdhc. It seems as close to the original as possible.

its not fake it's a clone, fully working and more capable than the original r4. r4's aren't being produced anymore after they got some greif from nitendo, you should check out there forums before making stupid remarks.
You just need the right kernel and you'll be good to go. Fake or real, they both work. Just need the right kernel for the fake one. There are a lot of clones for the R4, so it's trial and error. See my other post for link to try different kernels.

I know, it's a bit late... - BUT - any card R4 card with any extension eg:
R4 SDHC, R4i, R4-III, R4i Gold, etc. is FAKE, F - A - K - E!
The original R4 team dissolved (i think) and there are no more REAL cards currently in production.

well realy there all fake because the real r4s are not selling anymore just clones!
but this is just the same as r4 it just says sdhc to look good and more money its realy just r4 but diffrent sticker and diffrent package !
but all r4s are good accept n5 that blows the fuse in your ds !

SDHC Is a fake R4 ds cart. Although it does play homebrew, It doesn't Play them well, or not at all.
