I loved Kylie´s show here in Argentina. It was a shame that there were so many empty seats at the show! I mean, the venue place was 60% full, and it was a small theatre.
Well, in Chile there are many tickes unsold yet, but the only reason is that madonna is coming for the first time 20 days after kylie's concert. BUT, we knew that since march or so, so everybody bought the most expensive tickets they could and they were totally sold out in 3 hours, then madonna dated a 2nd concert the next day here down Santiago. And after ALL THAT, we knew Kylie was coming. Many are dieing now to go to both concerts, or even selling madonna tickets ahhaha.
You might at that... as an American, I don't get to see as much of Kylie as I do of Madonna, but I feel compelled to point out that only 1 of them holds the Guiness Book of World Records title of "Most Successful Female Artist"... and it's Madge, NOT Min. It is regretful people here in Puerto Rico are so hooked with Hip-Hop, Rap and Raegaeton, that it discounts any possibility of having Kylie come here. Despite the fact that maybe she has got many fans in the gay community, the expense of bringing her, the virtually no radio time spent playing her music makes it impossible to enjoy her in our island. Seems I would have to spend a few thousand dollars to see her in Europe. It is a shame she is not played in our radio. She is a really good pop star

I find nothing wrong with a little auto tune on tour when you're singing. Her music is electro pop, so you want those effects in the vocals. Other than that I looooove Kylie and the fact that she refuses to lip sync.

hey did anyone notive something in the opening. the screen was too slow. and d music was too fast so it couldnt catch up with the music at the same time. watch another intro of kylie`s opening and then u know wat i mean. a shame though cause the opening was so cool. but this opening kind of ruined it. :(
Ugh! America is so slow when it comes to good music and talent. Hell our country is pretty slow with everything. Still can't wait for the DVD though. There is a video on here where she flubs a line on Speakerphone. So all the naysayers who say she lip syncs, you are sadly mistaken.
Just got back from seeing her live in manchester was awesome, if you can get to see the show i highly recommend it, first live big concert ive seen and trust me its going to take alot to top that show
All I see released as the first single was a BIG mistake. It's hard for a dance/pop artist to get on a hip hop station. Maybe if Kylie hooked up with Timbaland, she would have sold some records here. It's sad you have to work with the same producers to get noticed, but American radio are followers not leaders.
Sadly, Kylie's music isn't as big in AMerica. I think US labels don't know how to market her. I love Kylie and Madonna equally, but the difference between them is that Kylie focuses more on singing and entertaining, whereas Madonna wants to show that 50 year olds can rock out with their cock out and save the world at the same time. I wish Madonna would sometimes entertain instead of acting like Mother Theresa all the time. I guess I'll have to see X2008 on DVD.
I agree with u completly. I like M and Kylie both too. But Kylie's so hard to market in the US probably due to the fact that almost all you hear is rap, rock, hip hop and some pop/rock. I personally like all those genres but it would be nice to hear some nice dance pop on the radio nowadays too. You would've thought that since Capitol released "All I See" as a single, X would've went big.

It's been years since she had a bonafide hit - her singles make the charts by looney fans buying multiple copies - she does nothing on digital sales so with the phasing out of physicals she'll fade even further - she's essentially a nostalgia act now, for people who grew up on neighbours.

She's having to cut whole sections of the show along with the props because she hasn't sold enough tickets to be able to afford transporting them to the country. Not surprising given that she's shit really.

Trust me, money wouldn't be the reason to leave out parts of the set. There were logistic problems identified during the pre-rig which would have affected certain venues, a much more likely reason than just leaving a couple of trucks behind.

hey did anyone notive something in the opening. the screen was too slow. and d music was too fast so it couldnt catch up with the music at the same time. watch another intro of kylie`s opening and then u know wat i mean. a shame though cause the opening was so cool. but this opening kind of ruined it. :(

Ugh! America is so slow when it comes to good music and talent. Hell our country is pretty slow with everything. Still can't wait for the DVD though. There is a video on here where she flubs a line on Speakerphone. So all the naysayers who say she lip syncs, you are sadly mistaken.

Yeah, she just knows how to SING on her own... Maybe a bit of auto-tune to keep her sounding good on tour, but nothing drastic like other artists.

All I see released as the first single was a BIG mistake. It's hard for a dance/pop artist to get on a hip hop station. Maybe if Kylie hooked up with Timbaland, she would have sold some records here. It's sad you have to work with the same producers to get noticed, but American radio are followers not leaders.

Sadly, Kylie's music isn't as big in AMerica. I think US labels don't know how to market her. I love Kylie and Madonna equally, but the difference between them is that Kylie focuses more on singing and entertaining, whereas Madonna wants to show that 50 year olds can rock out with their cock out and save the world at the same time. I wish Madonna would sometimes entertain instead of acting like Mother Theresa all the time. I guess I'll have to see X2008 on DVD.

I agree with u completly. I like M and Kylie both too. But Kylie's so hard to market in the US probably due to the fact that almost all you hear is rap, rock, hip hop and some pop/rock. I personally like all those genres but it would be nice to hear some nice dance pop on the radio nowadays too. You would've thought that since Capitol released "All I See" as a single, X would've went big.

And I believe the opposite occurred in the US. Hard Candy did very well and X flopped (WHY??? Baffles my mind). Even though I like both and think they are both great, I much prefer Kylie over Madonna. X is a pretty good album and I would have loved to see her in the US but unfortunately she is not performing here from what I hear. Oh well just have to get the DVD.

The real question is why does annodam care so much??? We all love her and are celebrating her, yet he/she seems to take joy in making nasty comments about her. What motivates someone to do that? Low self esteem? Needing attention? Needing validation? Taking joy in bringing other people down can only be for a reason like this. Kinda sad really. Annodam needs a hug and some therapy.

It's been years since she had a bonafide hit - her singles make the charts by looney fans buying multiple copies - she does nothing on digital sales so with the phasing out of physicals she'll fade even further - she's essentially a nostalgia act now, for people who grew up on neighbours.

She's having to cut whole sections of the show along with the props because she hasn't sold enough tickets to be able to afford transporting them to the country. Not surprising given that she's shit really.

Trust me, money wouldn't be the reason to leave out parts of the set. There were logistic problems identified during the pre-rig which would have affected certain venues, a much more likely reason than just leaving a couple of trucks behind.
