maybe ive just been doing it all day and im getting frustrated or thers somethng more to it, also i am using home made tension wrench and paperclip so maybe i need a new paperclip its starting to get mangled up
dont use paperclips. it teaches poor form if anything and will just frustrate you. buy some real picks there are lots of companies out there that sell.
I have the same lock and proper tools but I can't always get it like that. I've gotten it probably 10 times and it's one of the only things I practice on. I dunno, maybe I'm putting too much tension on it? I'm pretty much a beginner.
yeah its practice.... and besides not every lock is pinned the same or made to the same tolerances. some locks pop immediatly some take time... with enough practice you'll at least be able to open most locks eventually... its usually not like this video though :)
dont use that method. it will only frustrate you and teach you bad habits... if you get frustrated you'll tend to have a very hard grip and be very tense wich is the exact opposite of what you want. get some real picks it will be a lot easier to learn.
I have almost as many tension wrenches as i have picks, although there is no one wrench or pick for any lock, some wrenches fit better, and some picks feel more natural. use whatever is comfortable.

Kulvax2006 4 years ago
it is a snake rake.
melvin2001 4 years ago
how does raking it unlock the lock. i try it raking it but it never works. what do i hav to do? can u help me plz.
haggardass30 5 years ago
raking only works with crappy locks. single pin picking is much more consistent with many more locks.
