  • 3:22 A boy's best friend is his... MAMMY! LMFAO XD

  • Whats that instrument from the beginning of 5:00?

  • Oswald was stolen from them too, that's the sole reson Mickey was thought of because Walt&Iwerk needed something they could copywrite.

  • goofy?

  • There's nothing wrong with Oswald's voice here. It's just that when the recording was being done, their equipment slowed down a little bit. Anyway, it's not that bad. Aside of the very beginning, the rest of the cartoon is fine.

  • Ha ha GO OSWALD at 5:33 XD

  • thumbs up if u think the piano guy makes the song sound creepy!

  • Do you noticed that Oswald has two voices in the cartoon? >(

  • @Ntreik96 I think it's more like two accents.

  • @Downrightdreaming Thats probably because Disney lost rights to him in 1929.

  • about halfway, you can tell you get drunk when you see stuff like that XD

    4:40 an early Clarebell, anyone?

  • if they put oswald on disney they should make his voicde a lot different like johnny test's voice that would sound awesome on him anyone agree

  • You dont happen to have the original Universal print?

  • Comment removed

  • what an ending!!

  • i cant belive that he came back to disney in 2006 but universil still owns some rights to the charictor while disney owns the majority of the rights

  • @jonahinfo101 Actually, Disney owns the rights to the character and the cartoons that the Disney Studio produced. Universal owns the rights to the cartoons THEY produced, as well as the Winkler-produced Oswalds that were distributed by Universal.

  • 5:30 FUCK THAT CRIPPLE UP!

Don't you just love it when Disney is politically incorrect? ; )

  • *looks at related videos* *looks at eighth video down*

What is this I don't even...

  • I have a feeling that Oswald will get a boost of popularity after Epic Mickey. Of course, it helps that his voice actor will be Rob Paulsen for Epic Mickey 8D

  • @XennaXDemyx Actually, Frank Welker will be doing the voice of Oswald according to Wikipedia(I know, not a realiable source).

  • @XennaXDemyx In order for Oswald to shine again, it'll probably take more than a video game. Video games (at least in my view) don't seem to be a popular like they used to. When they were at the peak of their popularity, I guess that was during the early years of Mario Bros., Sonic the Hedgehog, and PacMan. Therefore, I think Disney should put him in a TV series or better yet a feature film.

  • @RetroRabFan that'd be good ^^

  • At 5:00, what instrument is being used there?

  • ZOMG ROFL

  • you know at 5:02 oswald is like ok youre playing and then hes like ok now im serious

then rip the leg and knock out

  • that is a story of epic mickey game

  • Armed with a magical paintbrush that he managed to pull into the world with him, Mickey must stop the Phantom Blot, gain Oswald's trust and save the Cartoon Wasteland.

  • as Oswald wants Mickey's life and popularity for himself.

  • He also creates animatronic "buddies" for Oswald, looking like decrepit robotic versions of Mickey's friends,

  • The Mad Doctor works closely with the Blot, creating robotic "Beetleworx", which are strange creatures that consist of combinations of various Disney cartoon characters

  • Years later, Mickey has forgotten his past transgression; the mirror in his home comes to life and pulls him into the Cartoon Wasteland. Oswald, his will lost and twisted by his jealousy of Mickey's rise to fame, has formulated a plan to destroy Mickey

  • but he eventually overwhelms them and twists their world into a dark and sinister version of itself, forcing Oswald into hiding.

  • who attempts to take control of the Wasteland from its first resident and Mickey's older half-brother - Oswald the Lucky Rabbit. Oswald and the other residents of the Cartoon Wasteland fight against the Phantom Blot,

  • Hearing Yen Sid approaching, Mickey quickly cleans up and flees back to his home. However, the spill of paint and paint thinner create a being called the Phantom Blot,

  • Yen Sid's study, sees the model, and waits until Yen Sid is gone before going back to take another look at it. Fiddling with it, Mickey accidentally spills paint and paint thinner onto the model

  • for his forgotten and rejected creations, held in an intricate model on a table, and accessible through a mirror. Mickey, who steps through a mirror from his home and finds himself inside

  • A long time ago, the sorcerer Yen Sid created a Disney theme park themed pen-and-paper world called the Cartoon Wasteland

  • The dead pan singer was voiced by Pinto Colvig The original voice for Goofy.

Also many have speculated Mickey Rooney plays Oswald's voice in the Water Lantz Cartoons.

  • No, the Phantom Blot is the main villian.

  • To believe this guy is the main villian of Epic Mickey.

  • hahahaha! his voice is like woah! it so unexpected. i hate to say this but i love Oswald a little better than Mickey. anyone agree?

  • same thing i said in my head, but i still like mickey

  • @DrinkemoV8 id have to say there both the same percent :P

  • @DrinkemoV8

Yeah, I do love poor ol Oswald. I think he will have sort of a comeback after the release of Epic Mickey. I mean, they really are half-brothers in a way.

  • @anton1990 hey since disney owns him again hell probly be in kingdom hearts

  • @DrinkemoV8 That's Pinto Colvig voicing Oswald. He also providef voices for the hills ("You chaid a mouthful!") and the dead-pan singer in this one.

  • @DrinkemoV8 duh he has Donald's temper and fighting spirit, goofy's lovableness and loyalty, and mickeys brains, courage, leadership, and heart he's perfect

  • @DrinkemoV8 just a bit

  • I love that they're all wasted!

  • im from Alaska. i think its funny

  • Do they sell cartoons of Oswald on dvd?

By the way, have you guys heard about the new game called Epic Mickey...it's about Oswald coming back for revenge and releasing the Phantom Blot.

  • ya it look soo cool

  • if this game is not good i will slap Disney

  • yeah they do have it on dvd

Diseny releseced it cuase they got the rights back

    and

yes i did, i heard of it off it from Wiki

  • The Disney ones that have survived are in a Disney Treasures sets, and some of the Universal ones are in sets with Woody Woodpecker stuff I believe.

  • @Kevxtreme21 What the heck is the Phantom Blot?

  • @Ryoku75 In 1939, the Phantom Blot was created by Floyd Gottfredson for the Mickey Mouse newspaper cartoon; he was a foreign spy who tried to kill Mickey in a series of deathtraps that never worked properly (he claimed that he was too softhearted to kill face-to-face); his name came from his outfit, which was a head- to-toe bedsheet, only, it was dark black, like an ink blot.

  • @Shoknifeman Thanks, was he actually made back or was me made specifically for Epic Mickey?

  • @Ryoku75 the Phantom Blot? As i said, he was created for the MM newspaper cartoons.... in those days, the Mickey strip was a "serial" with Mickey in long adventures where he defeated everything from sea pirates to crooked politicians (As far as I know, the Phantom blot was never used in animation)

  • @Ryoku75 in fact, you can find info on the PB on Wiki! (I just looked)

  • @Ryoku75 He was actually made back in that era, Epic Mickey just brought him back as a character for today's generation

  • @Kevxtreme21 The 13 existing Disney made Oswald cartoons were compiled together into Walt Disney Treasures: The Adventures of Oswald The Lucky Rabbit. Ten of the Lantz made Oswald are spread across the two Woody Woodpecker Classic Cartoon Collections, five on each one respectively.

  • So we are not getting all of the Walt Disney Oswald Shots on the Disney Treasures DVD?

  • @Riddler95 They compiled what they could find. Universal did not take good care of the original Oswald Rabbit negatives, to say the least. Disney had to find the footage they could from a worldwide search, even having to resort to using reissued versions of the original prints. The 13 shorts on the collection were all they could find, with some pencil test footage for a 14th short.

  • That really sucks.

I really hope that Disney will be able to find the remaining shorts.

I bought the DVD set and I have not even watched it yet.

  • That really sucks.

  • So he ripped off a man's leg and smacked him upside the head with it.

    I know I wouldn't fuck with him.

  • If they're in Alaska, how come they ain't got no coats on? Global warming working already? Or is Swine Flu getting ready to break out up there?

  • It's a CARTOON. Go whine somewhere else.

  • You're an evil, stupid somebody with no sense of humor, ain't you? The best works of art, including cartoons, have some sort of logic, even if it's wild Tex Avery-WB type logic. Go get a brain, and come back and talk to me.

  • Oh, wait. You're just a troll. Nevermind.

  • xDD you said it SpadeHand

  • Well, that's all I've ever wanted to know about Alaska

  • Better to have Oswald Rabbit revive and join with Mickey Mouse.

  • hey look what i found an OSWALD fan site.. oswaldsbuddy. proboards. com/index.cgi?

  • COOL

    my favariet oswalt cartoon.

  • I love Oswald, i went to Disneyland and no one knew who he was. so sad, a figure before Micky and not so well known.

  • Oswald is so terribly underrated. A wonderful cartoon character, and since he is of such great importance to the evolution of Disney, I can't understand why he dosn't get the respect he deserves.

  • I grew up on these cartoons. I wish I could watch them all. They are my earliest delights in life. Thank you so much

  • Tex Avery used to work on these cartoons before he went to Warner's and were heavily influenced on Warner's cartoons.

He contributed the gag of the deadpan singer singing "Go Get the Axe", voiced by Pinto Colvig (later Disney's Goofy and was also an animator at Lantz)
