I met Cameron in the SF Airport, purely by accident. I thought he was veteran and asked what happened to him. What followed my initial question was an amazing life change conversation. Cameron is one of a kind. Truly a profound inspiration. I only had about an hour with him and I can honestly say it was an hour in my life that I will never forget. Thanks Cameron for be a true hero!
This is Cameron Clapp. I actually met this guy at Hangar Prosthetics at Ku Med a few weeks ago. He is the nicest guy ever. I just lost my leg on June 2nd in an auger and he talked to me about it. To see him go down some stairs and walk around with two above the knee amputation is amazing. I felt honored to meet this guy. I believe he was in the movie Stop-Loss as well.
I think the guy deservers all your respect and admiration! Seems like a nice jovial type person and you would do well to take a lesson from him.. I wear a C-Leg too but only one. WOW, very impressive... Keep up the spirits and the rocking attitude..
he visited my high school today .when he was 15 he was hit by a train while he was drunk and is now obviously a triple amputee he is from california also
I think he is swinging like that because of balance maintaining. We all do that, but it's less obvious. The fact that he doesn't need any other sort of support than his artificial leg is already impressive.
I love living in ths age, half of the sci-fi from the 50's has come true. Giving people back real movement like this is just amazing.
