Do you mean you used 2 pieces of hair on the first couple of braids, then 4 on the next, then 6, and so on? I've been doing my own crochets for 2-years now but I can never get it just right and your looks perfect. How many cornrows do you have and were they just straight back? Thanks in advance!

@ctborn78 use 4 then 6 and so on and if you feel you need more just go back in a add more. I did 14 braids and they are straight back

@MzCrazziiStarrz4lfye on one braid you put 4 pieces of hair 6 on the next and so on. When you get to the top 10 pack it. so its almost creating a layer look then when your down you can go back in a fill

@naturalesque81tv After you braid ur 14 braids the pattern is 6 8 10 meaning the first two braids on the sideu put 6 piece of hair next two is 8 and so on if you still don't get it you can watch toysvoice channel she explains it better

@Acheekfull you really don't need much to maintain it. keep your scalp oiled, tie it down in the morning shake it out. if you feel that the curls are losing its pattern you can use activator gel but you can use whatever gel you want. here a link i looked at when i first did the style, her channel name is toysvoice
