  • Greetings, Peo!

Marvelous perfomance, as always! Could you make an recording of the 996 Gigue?

    Your brazilian fan,

    Ticlano

  • Thank you Ticlano,

I am happy you like this. i will do a recording of the Gigue soon.

    All the best,

    Per-Olov

  • Just beautiful, a joy to listen to.

  • I have Erling Møldrups cd with all his Bach interpretations.. this is one of my favorite pieces.. Very nicely done, like your other videos.

  • I've seen dozens of your videos and for a while I was convinced you couldn't play faster and more difficult pieces. I stand corrected: this was as clean and musical as your BWV1007 Prelude and looked just as effortless. Bravo!

  • Excellent musical intuition!

  • wonderful playing as always....but do you really drive a ford focus?....

  • Sumamente impresionado !!!! muchas gracias

  • beautiful interpretation !!

    loved every second of it!

you're a very expressive player with nice emotion capture!

  • very nice, I was given this suite to learn by my teacher and I've got the prelude down, just need to be steady with the presto. Otherwise awesome work, truly experienced hands performed exceedingly well. XD

  • This is prelude and presto right?

  • very impressive tempo in the presto!

i'm currently learning this piece; it's very interesting to see how our interpretations differ and are alike.

  • Brilliantly played :) I'm trying obsessively to learn this right now. Bach's my favourite composer but it will only be the 2nd one of his that I've played - planning on learning the whole suite. I'll check out some of your other videos.

  • My main genre is black metal. But I really love and respect this classical stuff. It's hard to play, imagine how hard it is to compose it. Great job.

  • I am a flutist and I just subscribe ;) Love your pieces mate :)

  • Sounds like BWV 533 ;D

  • I wish I could post a commentary in sound form. I'd whistle the beginning of the presto part. Daa daa dada dada daa daa, daa daa dada dada daa daa. ^^ Yours is by far my favorite rendition on youtube! The only youtube classical guitar videos that can almost keep up in making me happy are the ones by anhess.

  • Bravo!!!

  • Per!! I can't believe i've never seen this video!!!! that was very nice, i see u used a different fingering, NICE!!

    Keep well!

    Santi

  • Can you possibly get me the sheet music for all of BWV 996?

  • If you play Classical Guitar and don't play Bach then get a life. "Bravo" this is perfection. Bach is my favorite.

  • Beautiful rendition, thank you for posting!

  • great perfomance... really good sound. thanks for the sharing

  • Nice library, nice playing!

  • Per-Olov - I just have to say that I am in your debt, I am currently consumed by learning this prelude and this interpretation has totally reinvented my undestanding of the piece.

Thankyou and keep making (and posting) beautiful music.

    Lok

  • This is by far the nicest transition from the Prelude to the Presto I've seen (or rather heard). Total Eargasm. Doumo Arigatou Gozaimashita, Kindgren-sama :)

  • Bin´s grad am lernen aber so kanns ich noch nich spielen ;)

    Ehrlich meisetrhaft!!!!

  • Bravo!

  • Wow Sir! where did you study?

I hope someday I can play half as good as you

    keep it up!

  • Classical guitar... one of my probably never-to-be touched interests, one that you do very well.

    Impressed :)

  • you are great..¡¡¡¡¡¡...thank you for the video...please more of bach

  • I could listen to you play all day...Thanks for sharing your talent with us!

  • Smooth going there Mr Jazz ;)

    Me like!

  • what brand and model is your guitar?! Your fingers seemed to snake over the frets with such ease, I want to be able to play like that without killing my fingers on a guitar with poor action. Thanks!

  • Thank you. I play a Philippe Jean-Mairet from Swittserland. Please go to my web site for more info and pictures of it.

    per-olovkindgren. com

    Kind regards,

    Per-Olov

  • @GeminiSpartanX u need to get ur guitar set up lol. U dont need a new guitar.

  • Herrliches Gitarrenspiel ... .. .

    DANKE Per-Olov.

  • Vielen Dank!

    Per-Olov

  • I am searching for your Bach Lute Suite No.1 BWV996 Part3 Courante. I have no problems finding you playi the rest of the suite but this Courante is not there? If not, you would probably give all of your fans a big treat. As always, you played this Prelude beautifully.

  • What´s wrong in the minute 3?

  • Superb....

    I

  • Hello Peo!

wonderful technique on the voicing with superb interpretation and phrasing. I love this video. Thanks as always for the great stuff you post.

  • Best version I've ever heard - next to Julian Bream's - of what probably is my favourite piece. I'm speechless.

  • AMAZING!!! I'm speachless. Sir, I wish I had 1/1000th of your talent!

  • I really enjoy your interpretation of the Passagio. I'm still working on my classical vocabulary so this actually helps me out quite a bit!

And of course the Presto. A great listen but even more fun to watch on guitar. Thanks for the vid!

  • Brilliant. Simply brilliant.

  • Very 'najs' Peo! I guess I need to have a go at this again.... =))

  • I wish I had such an astounding classical guitar , I mean I lke my classical guitar ,but when I listen to the sounds of that guitar it gives me the feeling of falling in love...

    Such an onest sounds...

  • A good classical guitar makes the music really come alive but remember the guitarist makes the guitar sing. De guitar doesn't itself :)

    Great piece as always, congratulations

  • Wonderful is a gross understatement for your interpretation here!!

  • You play with your soul!

Thank you for play, thank you!

  • you use the second position to do this song right ?

  • ohh grat masterpiece, i hope you can give us more baroque music videos...

  • Stupendous Maestro!

  • Beautiful interpretation!!!!

  • This is so nice to listen to after a hectic day.....something really good to help you relax.

  • I have got to learn that piece! So beautiful.

  • So beautiful and relaxing to listen...

  • After watching such great classic guitar players I'm starting to think about giving up my passion for electric guitars and going in for classic ones... THUMBS UP!!! MARVELLOUS!!!

  • me too been playing electric since i was like 9, bought a classical guitar recently :D

  • Well, I sort of started playing the guitar 9,5 years ago. Back in those days I was inspired by Metallica a lot, but nonetheless my first guitar was a classic. I even took some lessons on classic guitar. Then after about 1,5 years I had to move to another apartment at the other end of the city, so I had to abandon that tutor (and he was great - had that 19th century style and aura around him). Anyway, nowadays I'm playing the electric guitar.

  • Although I have an acoustic and I love fingerpicking. But most of the time it's the electric and the bass.

  • I'm always impressed by Bach. It's a very demanding music that requires strong technical skills and accurate playing. All my respect. Fred

  • Thanks for the wonderful piece.

I didn't know you owned a Ford Focus!

    Cheers,

    -Steven Yoo

  • I also have a Ford Focus and would practice guitar in it during my lunch breaks.

I still cant play that good though :(

  • Hi Maestro kindgren,

    That was beautifully done.

    thank you,

    Ciao,

    Claudio

  • Beautiful!

  • It's always so enjoyable to watch and hear you play. Thank you so much for sharing your amazing works.

  • 6 stars, awesome.

  • Very very intelligent and good!

  • Mr Wilde was wrong this time!

    Merci, Monsieur Peo!

  • marvelous!

  • Thank you once again for sharing your great talent. :)

  • Wonderful....

    ******

  • i'll never get tired of hearing you playing Bach on guitar!!! you're my inspiration for picking up the classical guitar again. so far i figured out 2 of your Bach arrangements.

5* from a huge fan. -Eddy

  • As brilliant an interpretation as I've ever heard. I've always wanted to play this Lute Suite, but man the Presto looks complicated!

  • great Per-Olov. How did you record? Is there an in-built mic in the guitar or was the mic out of view?

  • Truly outstanding!!!

  • Stupenda...

    Grazie di condividere...

    :)

  • Etter 1. takt er det bare å lene seg tilbake, lukke øynene og "enjoy the music", Divine!!!!

    TAKK maestro!

  • Utterly beautiful.

  • Yes - I was still here at the end - and very glad I stayed :) brilliant

  • Pura vida!!!!

  • Fantastic

  • Beautifully played! Thank you for this jewel.

  • Amazing sound. I love your guitar.

  • If I could just play ONE measure like him. I'd be doing ok!

  • This is beautifully and perfectly played. How do you make Bach appear so easy to play while it's so difficult? Your playing is wonderful and is extremely inspiring. A touch of beauty in this otherwise difficult world. People like you make this life bearable.

  • I like very much the way you play it !

  • All I can say is...BEAUTIFUL!!!!

  • very suggestive tune. Bach is always contemporarily

  • ¡¡Bravo, Bravissimo!!

    Thank you Peo

  • another great performance anddd

    excellentttt..

    thanks Peo

  • What a beautiful music with dancing fingers on the flat board is.

    Thank you for the video.

  • Good "much elder" friend!

You turned to Bach and that is ok.

The Prelude is sooo beautiful! And yes I think too to play it as an improvisaion makes sense.(what say nothing if I offer my opinion but now it has happened)

Well done Maestro and your guitar sounds magically!

    cu soon - hopefully,

    wolfgang

  • Great to see more Bach Peo!

    Beautiful!

  • Congrats! Simply superb. A lot of work behind these awesome pieces.

  • 5/5 stars!! Peo, the Preludium works brilliantly with the unconventional tempo you played it in. I've always thought William's interpretation was the litmus, but you've shown me otherwise. I alos compose music for lute- in a neobaroque idiom, true to the spirit of JSB and Weiss. I'd be honored for you to check out my works as a fellow composer.

    Paul

  • Hi Per-Olof, I love your Bach-playing! You put your heart into this techniqual master-work - and that is it!

    5 stjärnor (right?:)

    Cheers - Sabine

  • Hello Per-Olov, this is a dance for your fingers. Wunderbar!!!

    All the best from Germany,

    Günter

  • Goyamoon sent me here, said that you were amazing. Was he right? AMAZINGLY right!!! :)

  • Me 2, what a great feeling to hear you playing J. Bach! :) THANKS A LOT for SHARING your gift with all of us!!!

  • I love it.

  • So good. That's all i can say.

    10 stars.

  • it would be nice for you to do toccata and fuga in d minor

  • always great!

  • It's not bad! But I bet he cant play Smoke on the water!!!!

  • Who needs to play smoke on the water when you can play like this. Regards,

  • lol to Miketyson69 comment.. My Response..why play "Smoke on the Water".. when you can walk on it?

  • beautiful....

  • Questo "Preludio" pare più un "Grave"!!!

  • This is rather good. Who is this 'Bach', by the way?! On a serious note, another wonderful performance doing justice to the work of the formidable Master.

  • LOL! I love the Oscar Wilde quote. And yes, I'm stil here.

I have a long standing love and fascination for Bach, and his staunch demands on musicians. You play the range of his expressions as if you learned them from him personally. (Though I believe that would make you rather old...) Beautifully done! And some real snap in the Presto!

    New camera? Very crisp HD.

  • Very nice. May I ask what microphone you use to record your performances? I have difficulty recording the classical guitar, but this sounds quite nice.

  • hehe! man i was playing air and i thought i was playing Bach!

  • Fantastique !

  • maestro es de verdad un deleite musical escucharlo tocar. usted sabe el nombre o el autor de esta pieza que esta en esta pagina casarubio. net de antemano le agradesco su ayuda saludos

  • Oh my goodness! we're always so happy when you return to Bach, and this is the best we've ever heard of your Bach pieces. Your beautiful rounded tone and exact tempo - gorgeous. Wish I lived next door. I'd keep the window open all the time.

  • I really started liking it from 2:07 forward.

  • Bach would be proud. Thank you.

  • Wonderful!

  • Magic.

  • Because people like you, other people fall in love with guitar

  • Som alltid en innertier:D Like skjøntog lytte til..hver gang.

  • Everyonce in a while I sere a performance I find hard to match with my current skills and there it is once illustrating whaty I really wanna be like and yet cant.

  • Just great.5*****

I wish I can write more English!

  • Music straight from Heaven,as Bach once said I'm just a messenger from the Lord, yes that's how it sounds. Composed in the Barok Era in the days unspoiled by modern consumerism. Very precise playing Per and very Musical, enjoyed it to the bone, greets Vic.

  • Excellent Peo. This is one of my favorites by Bach. Wonderful!

  • absolutely mesmerizing, beautiful playing

I wonder why your students don't like playing Bach :)

    such beautiful pieces

  • Now how in the hell do you get to be that good at guitar lol

  • Yay! Bach!

I think the Prelude is supposed to be a little free, it's French Ouverture style. I really like your version. I played this on my exam last year. After I've played a piece myself I always find it strange to listen to other people's renditions. But yours I can handle!

    A big hug!

    Jo xx

  • Yes. Perfection.

  • Perolov, can you play a request? It'd be awesome to see your take on Barrios' La Catedral.

  • Where can i see you in concert?

  • I have only heard of the few popular classical composers, and know very little of classical music.....but what I do know is I would like to listen a lot more to your playing and interpretation of the classics. That was so good.....THANK YOU!

  • Beautiful, feeling and timing spot on.

I must remember to ask you when we meet after life, what method you use to keep your timing so precise because I doubt you have the time now.

    Thanks again for your music

  • Yes I stayed to the end. Bravo! Good clarity in the voices too.

  • Thanks once again. Bach has never sounded better then under your fingers. I do like your "improvisation" of the first part and second presentation. I love all music but Bach is amazing, slow, fast, and you notice the beauty in each version. Thanks

  • This is what it's all about! Gotta love the Bach! Thanks again.

  • Bravo! I love it!

  • Wonderful-10**********s

  • I'd played this sond and I know this song is really difficult. Your play is wonderful! Thank you.

  • It is great to hear you play classics again. Keep it up! Perhaps your rendition of Milonga by Jorge Cardoso?

  • Yes, I was still there, I mean here, at the end! And then I came back for more :-D How wonderful that as well as your own compositions you can also play Bach like this - and just for "something different"!!! Great! Best wishes, sam :-)

  • oh my god!!!!!!!!!! i love this piece.

  • You always speak to me of Presti and Lagoya.Beautiful sound.I love it

  • This is one of my favorite piece's played on guitar. I love the way John Williams plays it, this would have to be a close second. :-)

  • Very beautiful!

    Thanks!

  • Hello Peo! i'm so glad to listen to a bach piece played by you! I love this prelude, especially the presto part it's so beautiful! I also love your library :)

    hugs!

    Liran

  • Wow, a Bach piece! My daughter loved him (piano) and did very well with his pieces, placing feeling right where needed. I will send her this link :) I like the Presto very much, P. It reminds me of the random thoughts that travel through one's mind right before sleep. (But I'm still awake!!) By the way... what's in the box behind you there on the shelf? Guitar strings? :)

  • all music is out of love :)

  • Hello dear friend Per-Olov, your interpretation is wonderful, I am much JS Bach!

    5 stars *****

I wish you a beautiful and peaceful week, all my best regards to you, Rosy

  • excellent ! un grand merci

  • Thank you very much.

  • Fantastic. Your Bach videos make me want to drop what I'm doing and pick up my guitar. I'm currently learning your arrangment for BMV 1007 and it's been a joy.

  • Lovely Bach.

    - Ben

  • Nice playing!

  • Beautiful, as always

  • amazing!

  • Wow!Wonderful playing,Peo!

I'm so happy to listen it in morning.

    Best regards,

    Kei

  • Amazing again.

Your skills are very very very impressive.

guess Ill go work on my guitar stuff again.

  • 2;06 to the end is my favorite....

  • wow you have about as many boks as my mom. great jog with this, i wish i had 1/5 of your tallent :)

  • B-E-A-utiful!!!!!

another great performance by the great PEO!

And just one day shy of my birthday!!

Thanks a bunch of being born Peo!

  • Overwhelming, fantastic.

  • I am loving the Labyrinth Game on the shelf in the back.

  • Gosh... I practiced this song for 6 months straight and came nowhere near this.

  • Once again Maestro, wonderful and yes it should be played freely, much like the "simple" Bach Prelude that opens my recital...stay tuned you might have a video posted...and we can both as Johanne later....I hope much later.

    R

  • This piece is my one of my favourites and I listen to Andre Segovia's recording quite often. Your's sounds better. 5 *'s

  • Once again you deliver quality to the people:-)

    keep 'em coming Peo.

Greetings from your fan in Norway

  • It is really great, Bach and Peo. Wonderful.

    Have a good time

    Michael

  • whoa!

....time to go back to practicing

  • Dear Per, I am speechless and do not say this

lightly! You have produced a new interpretation of this wonderful composition (one of my favorite of all times) and I prefer it even to that

of John Williams. The "improvisation" style of

the first part sounds very appropriate and adds to the transition effect towards the

second very stylistic part. Just a marvelous job!

Thank you and take care, - Athan

  • i want to chat with you by 2ny way please leave me your email 2ny thing i have many question about guitar

  • Bravo, maestro. Possibly the best I've heard. Thank you so much.

  • just simply beautiful.
