The reason it is is because all those fake movies that show monsters and stuff that you know aren't real and well of course Jaws is real and could happen anytime. On 100 most scariest movie moments (its only on near Halloween) Jaws is of course number 1 out of 100.

@sokow1 It's about a group of killings that happened in Rochester. A girl gets murdered and the FBI categorizes him as a drifter. But a detective played by Eliza Dushku thinks he's local who's just careful. The victim's first and last names and the place the body was left start with the letter "c". A second murder goes down with the same mo and Dushku tries to solve it while she starts to go a little crazy herself. :) It wasn't too bad of a movie.

I think Rob Zombie totally botched the Halloween movies. Sure, they were kinda scary, and he was a fuckin beast, but the storyline was fucked. The reason Michael Myers was a psychotic killer wasn't because his mom was a stripper and his home was broken. That's what was so messed up about the original.

He had a normal childhood, normal parents, a home in tact, and for no real reason, killed off his family and whoever got in his way.

He was pure Evil, not psychotic...

TRICK 'R TREAT is a good movie. I watched it twice last night. Kinda short, but it's orgiinal, and it doesn't hold back the brutality.

It wants the same tired shit, so the same bulshit actors and actresses you see everyday in two or more movie trailers can be in them, because they're the biggest stars. They'll bring in the cash. A new idea is a risky venture for the greedy sleaze that run the business.

By releasing it straight to DVD, they saved a lot since there wasn't much advertising for this movie. And they'll make money, cuz it's a good flick...
