tell me bout it, and its hard to get a job too, i'm an actor/musician/singer, auditioning always a turn down, they would usually reject me just because i lisps, most of them even gone as far as saying they never heard and saw anyone as good as me, but they are afraid to put me out in the market due to my lisping, but they'll take my songs and give it to other artists, which is cool but quite sad, as i dreamed to sing my own song and have my own album u know, luckily i'm a writer too. :(
I used to have one but it was because I had braces back when I was 13 (now I'm 19), luckily that was when my voice got real low so I didn't look that bad with the lisp so I know how a lisp feels, so I feel sorry for anyone who has one and my lisp went away when I was 15. A good exercise would to be go like "s/th s/th s/th s/th s/th", it could help a lot.

I am finally getting rid of mine...but it comes and goes sometimes because i am not use to it....i had wrong tongue placement...i put my tongue behind my teeth near the gum and i raise up slowly until i hear a whistle sound coming out...i started with a low tone then worked with a louder tone..

Having a lisp is really frustrating. I'm a singer and it sucks having to work so hard to make the s's sound decent. I had pretty messed up teeth as a kid and then got braces so I think that might be where the lisp came from.

Having a lisp is really frustrating. I'm a singer and it sucks having to work so hard to make the s's sound decent. I had pretty messed up teeth as a kid and then got braces so I think that might be where the lisp came from.
