WOW! So nice to see so many cousins here! We have a HUGE family. With so many kids our Grandparents had there must be scads of cousins! I would love to figure out a way for some of us to meet! Email me anytime at cherieperks@rogers.com I am Lucky's daughter.
Hey Don, you probably don't remember me at all, but I do you....I'm Lisa...the oldest of Ben's two girls....Mom and Dad still live in Shediac with my sister, you should give Dad a call or visit if/when your in the Moncton area...he never changed....just a bit older....How is your family? Haven't seen you in forever...Lots of Love, Hugs and Fiddle tunes...Lisa
Hi, I'm Don Tremblay from Bathurst, New Brunswick, one of Lucky's nephews. My mom is Helene. I have been playing guitar since I was 4 or 5 years old and have been playing lead guitar in local bands.
As mentioned in the comments, I am impressed by my uncle's gifted talent. I am thrilled to learn of my huge Imbeault family. Hope to hear from you. Very interesting indeed!
Holy shit!!! That sounds about right. I remember people coming over and playing all kinds of instruments all the time. I even remember my dad building a make shift "jam room" in the basement of our house, which later on became my bedroom lol. These are honestly some of my earliest memories of growing up in that house... Of course all the faces except for some family members, including Aunt Cherie are blurry now.
I had the pleasure of having Lucky Ambo as a friend back in 1974-75 until he moved away from Sarnia. He moved in with myself and a friend of mine and we worked on getting a trio together and play the hotel circuit. I learned a lot from Lucky, to say he was a gifted musician would be an understatement. He was the most naturally gifted talent that I have ever seen. I think of him often, but cherish the memories. This man played on stage with just about everyone from Lighfoot to Hank Snow. RIP
where the heck did this come from. one of the greatest of all time, LUCKY AMBO. if you look at rick powell presents the sons of the saddle, you probably know that lucky toured with these guys way back when. WOW,
Lucky Ambo, comes from where i live in Bathurst New Brunswick. I played with him brieefly ( 10 minutes )when i was 14,because my uncle played with him before he moved. He then came back home and died about 15 yrs. ago maybe 18 yrs.If anyone has this record plese put it on YOUTUBE,Can't find anywhere
You can get turntables now that have a usb input so can save your vinyl on your computer... You might want to check out renting one instead though, as they are about $100

This is my blood Grandfather. My real name is Jaro and my father, Lucky's (Clifford lol) son is Rodney.
Some amazing stories I have been able to hear over the years.

Jaro, I remember you when you were little.
We use to go to you dads house, and everybody would jam together. Your aunt Cherie use to be there too.
We are second cousin.
The Ambeault family is huge, and some of us even spell it different LOL
