I love every single thing about Michael C. Hall's acting, but what I admire best is his physicality. He is so damn graceful and fluid. I aspire to act and I am in training, but the one thing that is most difficult (for me at least), is being physical and looking natural, graceful, smooth and in control. I don't just enjoy Dexter as my all-time favorite show, I take lessons from the brilliant performances. If I ever meet Hall, I would surely thank him for that.

I always thought it was interesting how Dexter starts off by saying

"Stop that never helped anyone" to prayer, but there's a surprisingly large amount of religious talk/symoblism/scenes in the entire show.

I don't find it interesting it all. Actually I found very little of this religious "symbolism".

Dexter makes it quite clear throughout the series he is not religious at all. Very much a skeptic when it comes to the supernatural. Which is because Dexter is a very intelligent person.

Well there's his scar, he thinks about if I believed in god, the funeral scene has his brother in the church with him, he thinks about a higher power a few times in the season 2 finale, two episodes are called, Our Father, and In The Beginning, Miguel talks about spirit, which relates to Dexter seeing Harry, Trinity is religious, plus his name is Trinity obviously, Dexter thinks about fate also, a few other bits.

I dunno, it's just a show.

@screech414 Batman isn't emotionless. He just sees it as a weakness to expose his true emotions so rarely expresses them well. The reason serial killers show little to know proper emotion is because they would often have no sense of apathy while that is exactly what batman's about.
