  • More like 35 than 75

  • that is not 75mph

  • There's no way that was 75 mph.

  • i hear, WHAT WAS THAT!! lmao

  • Doppler effect

  • @iamlumin

Your a philosopher I'm assuming ? You don't have an ego. Good.

  • Me:Oh wow I'm faster than that ohh wow

    Mom:No your not son

Me:Mom I'm pretending to be a super hero

  • Thank God the chicken didnt slip off and go into the crowd lol.

  • That is one fast cat.

The Cheetah is by far the most domesticable of the big cats. It is sad that idiot hunters shoot these and other animals for sport. They are low life in my book.

  • this is sparta

  • i only wish i could run that fast

  • CHEETAHS CAN GO IN THA 70'S @LEAST, THIS CHEETAH EVEN BEAT THA RED TIME LINE ON THIS 9 SECOND VID 4 A WYLE! AND THA CHEETAHZ JUST CHASING A LURE B-ING DRAGGED! (NOT TOP SPEED) WHEN DRIVING LOOK @ UR SPEEDOMETER ON THA HIGHWAY AND IMAGINE RUNNING THAT FAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • is that 75 mph? .,I don't think so.

  • WOW!

  • OH!!! SHIT!!!! its USAIN BOLT!!! lol

  • wow......

  • dont u love in some videos the comments are those very long ones cuz different people are arguing at each other lol...i wanna fit in sfdjfgsjdjsjdfdhdhdsfhhshfksdfsfjdfhffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg

  • I also love those who type an argumentative reply and don't bother to spell check or read it before they hit submit. It only makes them appear uneducated and plain. Thanks for looking.

  • ooooooooo....0oooo0o0oooo.....so u wanna take it down this road. LOL

  • testeras, youre fucking dumb. please disconnect your computer and go cut your wrist.

we can never be faster than a cheetah you dumbfuck. we cant even outrun a bear. next time, read first and learn before you start commenting here in youtube and spreading stupidity.

i hope youre not planning to reproduce coz damn, i feel sorry for you and your kids.

  • HOLY FUCK!!!

  • the camera's frame rate couldnt keep up with the speed LOL

  • HOLY SHIT

  • Usain Bolt can run 50km/h...if man would eat live food like animals...in several generations he would get back the strenght that he once was...now...imagine that strenth and speed trained...i belive that he would be close to chetah speed...he would run 70km/h...and he would have great strenght...twice than the strongest man...that means like two fedors...

  • lol you're fucking dumb dude

  • Tell me how am i fucking dumb...???explain me...???

  • The cheetah runs at 70 MPH which is around 114 km/h. Faster than any speed a human can reach.

  • well, the thing is, you can't forget that in nature, we all have a strength and weakness, for human, our strength is intelligence, not speed or strength. for cheetah, it is speed, not intelligent, I would rather evolve more then just degenerating myself so I can get speed and strength.

  • bolt runs 37-40km/h

  • Do your math man...let me explain something...4x100m...if bolt doesent run first his time on 100m will be proximatly 8.5 sec...you got the number...now do your math...

  • Bolt averaged 23.35 mph (37.57km/h) and reach 27.79mph (44.72km/h)

Of course Bolt can hit sub 9 in a 4x100 with a STANDING start. Green, Lewis, Bailey, Powell, Haynes have already done that, and Haynes did in the 1960's.

Hell Robert Esmie, did 9.02 in atlanta 96 and hes only a 10.2x sprinter

  • Now...imagine this...you say that bolt maxes aproximatly 45km/h...now...pump him with adrenalin...and tell me now how much is he going...10,15km/h faster...that is 60 dude...60...may i remind you...a man from etiopia who didnt train anything in his life jumped over 10 metres to escape a enraged lion...and world record is 9m...people than did a test on him...they took him to jump again...without adrenalin rush...he jumped 5m...

  • Whos to say he isn't full of adrenalin when he is racing in front of 50,000 people in the stadium and a billion people world wide?? Oh and one will most likely run the fastest when relaxed, not when a lion is chasing them and they're most likely shit their pants

  • Dude...you are not reading what i whrited...adrenalin level wont be the same when some wild scary ass lion is chasing you and while you are running in front of the stadium...

  • a 100m race in the olympics gets you pretty pumped with adrenaline already, and he doesn't reach that kind of speed sorry to say.

  • My point is...that...even so scientist are saying that people are weak comparing to the beasts...i say no...we are strong...adrenalin can show you how much are we strong actually...if under adreaniln rush man is capable of doing stuff that normaly 3 normal man under normal curcustances cant do...that only means that we can do that...we just need to train harder...

  • We are physically weak compared to beast but much smarter, thats why humans are on top of the food chain. No need to run as fast as a cheetah, when mankind has the ability to shoot a gazelle with a gun.

  • Who's says that's necessarily smarter? We also cause most of the destruction, famines, war, disease, over consumption of resources, pollution, promotion of hatred and division, etc, etc, etc. Generally speaking humans treat the natural world like crap even though it's essential for their survival. That's not very smart. A cheetah doesn't know what the wold kill means, doesn't even know it's a cheetah. That a label we came up with. A cheetah chases a gazelle for survival & it stems from instinct.

  • our intelligent people create tools of possible good and possible destruction, and unintelligent people try and get the most comfort without any care about destruction.

i think we're smarter than a monkey if we can split the nucleus of an atom, bound by what is possibly the strongest force in nature, or if we can create the coldest environment in the universe, yeah we're more intelligent than the average beast which uses its natural ability to subsist.

  • Man is also the only creature that threatens life on the planet for all species. Anyone can compare, some people are clearly not smarter than monkeys, then again some monkeys might be smarter than others. The average "beast" as you call them perhaps have a different kind of intelligence & yes they subsist with their natural ability. That's the point. A whale, a cheetah, a dolphin, whatever, some creatures can do things that man will never be able to do & they do it with just what they came with.

  • the cause of man's destruction is allowing an unintelligent human unlimited access to an intelligent human's creation. the smartest monkeys can identify patterns and communicate with a visual keyboard system, which is phenomenal, but even hundred year old inventions like the internal combustion engine are light years ahead of things like that.

  • In terms of what? American society for example I assume you would say is at the forefront of intelligent inventions and developments. Of course, it was recently reported that nearly 70% of American society is medicated and there is an epidemic of obesity amongst children, not to mention breast cancer and prostate cancer. Just because you can develop things does not mean it's intelligent and does not mean that everyone agrees with it.

  • and i wouldn't say the average american society is the most intelligent, most of the new breakthroughs are happening either in space or with the new particle accelerators in europe. as an american i go well against the stereotypical view of an american: i'm a varsity cross country runner, i got back my psat scores last week and i got the highest score in the sophomore and junior classes as a junior in a school with a >90% graduates going to college.

  • And those societies have their issues as well and many have issues with depression, suicide, drug abuse, abuse, murder, etc. Congrats on your school work but understand you are simply learning others people views on things. Again, how do you define intelligence. You see it's not one group vs another or that one is more intelligent than another. Humans are inherently flawed. Look around, read the news.

  • We are flawed, i understand completely, just sometimes when i think about the achievements that the human race has made i feel like the majority of us take it for granted. we could easily fix all of the things we're doing wrong and only passively take from our world instead of depleting the natural reserves of energy. the main problem is the greed and laziness of certain people in power who are unwilling to spend the money despite the good it will do.

  • Again, I would be watchful has to how I define success or "achievement". The "majority of us take it for granted". Yes, yet another flaw. Money and the accumulation of materialism is limited when it comes to providing a sense of happiness and well-being. If you for it in "things" I can assure you that you will never find it. Wild animals like cheetahs for example are complete and thoroughly content being what they are to the fullest. Humans are busy trying to "become" other that what they are.

  • then what are we? what should we be?

  • Honesty this isn't the proper forum for this discussion. However, I will say that in reality there is no "we" only infinity being all the being there IS. Presence cannot escape its own immediacy. I understand your feelings living under the assumption that there is a we and we are humans and some are good and some are bad, some are smart and some are stupid. It's all very silly because there is no escaping the conflicts that seem to arise from this dualistic approach.

  • Do you "think" you must become what you already are? Do you breath yourself? Do you personally plan the thoughts you'll have and when you'll have them? Thoughts arise and pass like clouds. It seems that when we believe in the stressful ones we suffer. What happens happens anyway regardless of how we should it or wish it to death. The desire for things to be other than the way they are is the fundamental cause of suffering and even that apparent suffering is spurious at best.

  • and a cheetah can run at 70 mph to catch prey, but how is that different than shooting an arrow that fast to hit an animal? or a bullet? or driving a car?

the animal can do it without assistance but our intelligence has allowed us to do things that nearly every animal has done

  • "Nearly"? Not really. Some whales communicate miles apart from each other with no additional equipment. In fact, humans senses are so dull they often don't recognize the depth of another sentient beings intelligence when its right in front of them. They recently discovered for example that dogs can smell cancer. There are so many differences that if you can't see them there's no point in discussing them.

  • We can't communicate that far unassisted. So we created written language and post, later the telegraph, telephone, and now cell phones can stream live video. We detect cancer with medical devices designed to identify tumors and treat them.

I'm not saying animals can't do these things but the ability to artificially mimic natural abilities we don't have is why the human race is generally more successful. we have unfortunately abused our resources though and now are paying for it.

  • Exactly, we can't communicate that far unassisted. End of story, case closed, that is the point. We detect cancer with medical devices but are now discovering that dogs are far more sensitive and able to detect cancer when our devices cannot. Again, what is more successful? A heavily medicated society, with a planet that has at least 50 wars going at any given time, greed and self-aggrandizing behavior, and again we are the one species that threatens the complete annihilation of the planet.

  • just keep in mind you're human too. before you criticize the human race for the negative actions of the greedy and the ignorant, inaction is no better than negative action.

I'm not going to try to defend war or heavy medication, as i'm primarily a pacifist (except in videogames :D) and take no pills other than maybe an aspirin every few months.

but i see where you're coming from, and i agree to a less extreme extent. i don't think people are evil, or stupid, just ignorant and lazy.

  • Let's not go there because in truth humans are never "being". Humans assume they operate in a time paradigm & thus are always dealing with that which isn't yet or that which isn't anymore & never with that which IS NOW. I consider myself a spiritual being not a human being, that's simply an illusion that will come to pass as all illusions do.I agree that those who cling to their human identity are confused & as you say ignorant but I feel this is inherent if you are stuck in the human paradigm.

  • Bolt runs faster than 40 kph. Donovan Baily who ran the 100 in 9.84 was measured at 43.5 kph (during that race).

Now Bolt, who achieved 9.58, starts more slowly than most runners, accelerates more slowly also, but has to reach a top end speed that's that much higher to win like he does.

I don't know if it's been measured, but he must reach close to 48 kmh (30 mph) if not surpass it.

He evidently surpasses all these 9.84 runners, even the fast starters, therefore he has to run much faster...

  • ..faster than 43.5 that is

  • @mikereida he was measured to hit 44.17km/h. tyson gay has hit more than 43.5km/h as well.

  • @mikereida he starts are actually just as good or better than other sprinters he knew that was his weakness so he practiced it. Just look at the Berlin race he was out front start to finish its hard to believe that someone with such long strides can accelerate as fast as he does

  • You're right, his start was pretty good. I read -recently - that he could improve his start, acceleration and top speed. If that's correct he'll be pretty darn fast when he does so!

    :)

  • @mikereida 100 meters in 9.58 = 37.6 Km/h average. I don't think that's a 48 when he finishes.

  • @Somai82 I didn't mean he reached 48 at the finish, but that with his kind of speed over 100, he could likely hit 48 at top effort.

  • i heard they can run 80km in 3 seconds, so thats nothing , 2 scientists told em that today :]

  • no animal can run 50 miles in 3 seconds that's impossible.

  • hahahaha, that is 96000 kilometers per hour.. are you retarded?

  • that was probably about 40 mph

  • hes fucking haulin ass

  • wtf bolt can run up to only 27mph at max. no match

  • in the 100, he got to 33, look it up

  • You can't compare humans with animals, we are slow and weak. Very slow and very weak. Humans have something far more powerful than speed or strength.

Bolts speed if compared to all living things would rank outside the top trillion on the planet, His intelligence would, I hope, make the top half a billion.

  • i think this cheetah was jus jogging too, only going as fast as they could pull the lure..

  • with all due respect to bolt (he's fast), the cheetah is lightning. just incredible.

  • y do ppl hav to kill such wonderful animals tigers are said to be extinct in 10 years if we dnt do sumthin

  • Whos "killing"?

  • chill out hippie

  • chill out what u mean im makin a point g damn u gettin all fired up 4 nutin

  • cause that's random as shit

  • at the olympics prefably

  • cheetah vs usain bolt

  • "In ur African playnz, breakin' teh sownd barriur..."

  • usain bolt vs a cheetah bolt gets a 200m head start haha this is insanely quick

  • bolt wins

  • Ha Bolt is superior to all Humans but cheetah man nah

  • i know was a joke

  • bolt is no match for cheetah

  • Your point is?................................

  • the point is no one can't challenge the cheetah....it's fucking crazy thing if you challenge it, you wasting your time, but is good experience....y don't you try?

  • LOL! nice one

  • That. is. humbling.

  • man if that cheetah had turned right, those people would have gotten owned

  • nah niii9ga u mean pwned!

  • naw, straight demolished!

  • lol yea like bowling pins!

  • yep, them giant cats play NO games

  • dey take em seriously

  • yep, you gotta have a rocket launcher to kill that shit,

  • heat seeking rocket launcher

but maybe its colder den the ppl der

    l0l

  • @Bobdevils theydont attack people unless they have cubs

  • @Bobdevils Yeah, but it's not on cheetahs nature attacking humans. We are too big for them. They could attack a person if they feel in danger but otherwise they won't. Beside from that, I've read that cheetahs, although they're wild on nature, have a domesticable character, just like dogs.

  • @carmaj156 That's true, I believe it was Indian/Persian kings use them as hunting animals, just like blood hounds.

  • imagine that thing running for you

  • the cheetah can run out a police car

  • We now return to "DAMN NATURE! YOU SCARY!"

Damn look at that son' bitch go! He haulin' ass! That thing come by my house I kill it! That little rat lookin' thing just got ate! DAMN NATURE! YOU SCARY!

Hopefully a few people have seen that episode of Family Guy or I'm going to look really stupid saying this lol.

  • yes, i've seen it it's about the cheetah how awesome is that?

  • Fast..

  • yea...right

  • wtf cheetah are the fastest how can dogs be faster dumbass.greyhound run only 30 -40pmh something like that bitch

  • i was being sarcastic

  • LOL!

  • Wow!!!!!!

  • daamn hes booking it

  • volgens mij kan je boeken niet in t engels gebruiken maat

  • Wow the cheetah can definately outrun a prius! LOL

  • FUCK THAT SHIT IM OFF! watch my 6 falks

  • SHHHITT!!!!!

  • That's sound logical. They never run them full out at a zoo, as they don't want to risk injury. Also, when you see them in the wild it is clear they have another gear if they want to use it and of course, some cheetahs are likely faster than others. I contacted a Professor in Oxford who has studied them for years and he said some probably run as fast as 70 to 73 mph but only for short burst......bal bla bla!!!!!

  • That was no dog speed. Great footage however. It really gives you a true sense of speed under a controlled enviroment. They can definitely run over 70 mph for about 60 - 90 seconds.

  • After seeing 90 Seconds Of Speed I was like man that was slow.

  • My computer has this gear which can translate graphic speed from videos to real-life accurate to 3 significant figure calculations, and it said this waa 62.7 mph

  • That's sound logical. They never run them full out at a zoo, as they don't want to risk injury. Also, when you see them in the wild it is clear they have another gear if they want to use it and of course, some cheetahs are likely faster than others. I contacted a Professor in Oxford who has studied them for years and he said some probably run as fast as 70 to 73 mph but only for short burst.

  • the fastest recorded was 62 mph

  • Actually, there's been various recording from various sources and I spoke with a Professor in Britain who wrote several books and articles on the cheetahs speed. Of course, some are faster than others and in the wild they often seem to exhibit an extra gear if they need it. Approximately 71 mph is wildly accepted in most professional circles.

  • can you please give me the name of that software, thank you...

  • That wasn't 75 mph but it wasn't dog speed either. They don't run them full out. In the wild you see them and they have this extra gear that they only use when they need to. It's pretty impressive.

  • AMAZING VIDEO!

  • That wasn't 75. That was dog speed.

  • 75 my arse

  • WOW

  • lol HOOOEEE ye i agree with sweviktory XD

  • wtf why dose someone yell "HOOOEE"???

    XD

  • LOL

  • amazing... nice kitty

  • amazing... must have been going at least 70 mph

  • not there...thats like 50. the fastest is in kenya and it can go 85

  • PROBABLY SO

  • Cheetahs are amazing! Their acceleration is perhaps even more impressive than their top speed.

  • whoa thats so cool man

  • You're so lucky to be right there to see these amazing creatures! God i wish i was behind one of those cameras! *faints*

  • that was like 100 in 3 seconds dammmmnnnnnnnnnn

  • Cheetah's all like DAMMIT I slept in again!

  • haha good one lol, like to see usain bolt beat that shit! haha

  • Warp 5 initiated!

  • no you can't.

  • how u goona tell me i cant and u dont even know me

  • mmmm no you cant

  • Cheetah's are Cool and smooth like Ice

  • freaking hell thats fast.

    ._.

  • damn that thing was out.

  • god any animal being hunted by the cheetah might as well lay down

  • LOL! That made my day!

  • LOL!

  • or perhaps climb a tree, or kick it in the face, or not be a gazel, or toss it a mini muffin, or go in water (idk do they swim?)

  • WOW, thats cool

  • cool videos .... the humans on the side lines dont throw any distractions though or get the cheetah to "disengage" the lure?

  • Wow. Amazing.

  • that was awesome!

  • i wish i ran as fast as a cheetah

  • me 2

  • nvm, id prefer superspeed instead.

  • eeeehhhh yer wateva

  • Amazing!
