  • 7 books of Narnia

  • Given the frequency of Jeremy's videos and the fact that he seems to be wearing the same clothes in almost all of them, I always imagined him hanging his suit on the back of a chair really carefully in between videos. Either that, or he owns like 10 of the same suit. I also always kinda wondered if he was ever not wearing pants in these videos.

  • the only good movie in 3d was spy kids 3...nuff said

  • @watchandbamused beowulf kicked ass in 3d.

  • For me, prince Caspian was WAY better. It doesn't feel the same without all of them.

  • Comment removed

  • Oh yeah. There's 3 movies in Narnia.

  • 1:45 is your entire reason for coming here. Oh, he also does a review of some movie.

  • Awesome review. I love the whole Narnia book series, but the only movie I've seen is The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. Sound like I need to check the other two movies out.

  • i like camel balls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 420 videos... takes a deep deep breath and breaths out

  • 1:45 for the annoying cousin

  • I love you Jeremy. n.n;

    Thanks for always being awesometacular.

  • i want a reboot out of this series. Somebody needs to take them more seriously like they deserve. The first two interpretations wernt bad, but this piece of cinematic prostitution totally ruined it for me. REBOOT!!!!!!!!

  • i just cried for 2 minutes because of the end of mass effect 3 and then i watched this and just wanned to say thank you jerremy for the laughs

  • @iPointi I always find it funny when people cry over video game deaths...

  • What is going on with youtube? This video was uploaded 4 hours ago? I don't think so...

  • @blackhorse1988 He replied to someone on this video 4 hours ago.

  • @blackhorse1988 Read it first, he didnt upload the video 4 hours ago, it says that he replied to someones comment on this video 4 hour ago

  • I'm on a BOAT, mudafucka!

  • I love this show..Jerremys show not the fricking movie he is talking about xD

  • Seriously Jeremy You are the BEST!!!!! you give a real good opinion on films and games at the same time as being funny. I actually used to use rotten tomatoes but now ever since I found out about you I havent used it since!!!! Jeremy keep the reviews coming!!!!

  • First Narnia film was good, not great. Second one sucked 'cause it felt like a rehash of the first one. This one is just forgettable...

  • when the hell did a 3rd narnia come out. i only remember there only being 2 narnia movies

  • MACARON CHACARON MACAron

  • I read all the narnia books when I was young but yeah you are right, I only remeber the lion, the which and the wardrobe.

  • the second one was the best. This one had little action and it was weard

  • pause at 1:47 I CAN READ MINDS!!!

  • Best book in the series, worst movie in the series.

  • Well I wouldn't say I "hated" everything else but it was a pretty big letdown and it detoured so far from the original source material. This movie did not do the book justice.

  • Oh. My. God. Jeremy has gotten popular. I remember when he was MovieMan. He only had like 5 k views.

  • This movie was a really big disappointment for me since it's my favorite book in the Narnia series. The only things I liked in the movie were Will Poulter as Eustace, because Eustace was really like that in the book, and the ending credits with Carrie Underwood's song and the moving artwork. I hated everything else.

  • Jeremy, I would really love to see your take on some old classic films like Casablanca or even director's Kubrick like The Shining or something. Have you reviewed Mystic River, Changeling or Million Dollar Baby.

  • He has 420 videos...lol

  • @TahliaTheShadowAngel No problem, but you do realize that the entire series of Narnia books is all christian metaphor right?

  • @JeremyJahns

I mean it's expected that it'd be a whole Christian metaphor because CS Lewis was a lay theologian and Christian apologist. BTW this is how I rank the three Narnia films:

    LWW: Great

PC: Could be better but still enjoyable

VDT: Needed a lot of improvement but not horrible

  • @JeremyJahns Yes. Yes I do. But the first two movies hid it much better than this one did. MUCH. And this movie was just shit. Of course, IMO.

  • @JeremyJahns what's funny is that it isn't even the biggest case of that, check out: "A pilgrim's Progress" sometime, where literally everything in the book is a metaphor.

  • @JeremyJahns Oh, Jeremy. You are such an intellectual. Oh dear.

  • @JeremyJahns to be fair, even though most people know that anyway, it is much more enforced with any ''christian prapaganda'' than the other two so its much more obvious with VOTDT

  • @JeremyJahns Aren't you a Christian?

  • @JeremyJahns thanks for ruining my childhood ...just thanks..

  • @JeremyJahns sadly

  • @JeremyJahns wait how is it a christian metaphor

  • @tardersauce12 The whole thing is a christian metaphor... Im not going to go deep on it Im just gonna give you the most important example

Aslan the lion is pretty much a symbolic Jesus, he sacrfice himself for the sake of others and then revived to defeat the evil

  • @TahliaTheShadowAngel This movie was boring. The othe two were pretty good.

  • @TahliaTheShadowAngel You have "angel" in your name though......

  • @TahliaTheShadowAngel the narnia books were written by C.S. Lewis you moron. one of the most well know christian apologists of our time.

  • @TahliaTheShadowAngel You're the piece of shit.

  • @TahliaTheShadowAngel So ARE LOTR, SUPERMAN: THE MOVIE, AND STAR TREK : THE MOTION PICTURE (AND STAR TREK V!) HYPOCRITE!

  • 1st Narnia was amazing!

  • hey jeremy, can you review criminal minds?

  • 1:45 I fell off my frickin' chair!!! xD

  • 1:45 Lmao!!!!!

  • When i first saw the movie, When they said, " Don't think of the fear, or it'll come true!"

I was all like, "It's the Stay Puff Marshmallow-Man!"

  • Just when i thought i saw all your videos, i stumble upon even more in the suggestions list :o

  • "Lion" was awesome...just such a thrill for me to have that part of my childhood back. I loved Caspian the book, but new it wouldn't translate well and boy was I right. Treader wasn't bad, but since they're on a boat with like 2 talking animals it seemed like it could have been another franchise. The changes to the script were okay and I get why they were done. I'm not expecting to see the rest made though.

  • I laughed SO hard at 1:45

  • i think prince Caspian is my favorite of the trilogy. the first was ok but the characters were to young to relate to myself. the second was good because the characters were more-ish mature than previously and there was more of an inner story line. i didnt like the 3rd cause everything changed for the worse the director changed so it didnt have the same narnia feel to it. i liked the cousin because he stood out as a character but it felt that the movie was riding on him not everything in general

  • Gawd... Prince Caspian. Narnia's talking pylon. That dude had less acting range than Keanu Reeves.

  • I thought this movie was the worst of the narnia movies while the book is ok and far from being as bad as the silver chair and the last battle. I do hope the movie Narnia: The horse and his boy will be good, because that book was the best of the narnian books. I even find it better than the first one.

  • Am I the only person who really liked Prince Caspian? I mean, at the least it was better than this one...

  • the movie makes a whole lot more sense in the beginning if you read the book first. but it wasn't my favorite. I liked caspian and LWW way better.

  • I almost spit out my yogurt all over the computer when you started imitating the annoying cousin LOL

  • @TheAli07 And that's why we shouldn't eat yogurt in front of a computer. LOL! JK!

  • @TheAli07 HAHA... "YOGURT"

  • honestly I think they should wait a while, let the series die, and then redo it and make it right

  • i just couldnt understand why they changed caspians accent. it doesnt just change a couple years later. idk am i alone on this

  • I didn't like it... and I have a hearth. I hope. No, really, plot was kinda eh for me, that little Whatshisname was so annoying, I just wanted to punch him. Really hard. Villain/s was/were... I don't know. I actually don't know who they're fighting. I'd rewatch it, but God it was boring. Narnia should never had sequels, first one was okay...

  • wait, WTF!? this movie already came out?!

  • 1:45 i can't stop laughing oh my god, love it.

AND i actually loved the move :D

  • I read all the books...In hardcover...And i own them all...Shut up...

  • I really hate it when a series starts completely drifting from it's origins (*cough* Doctor Who*cough*) It makes it slowly less relatable to what we loved, at least that's what I feel.

  • I was reminded of ghostbusters too... lol

  • The religious undertones of this movie ruined the entire series for me. I preferred my blissful ignorance that they were just fun stories with odd similarities the Bible. But in the end I guess it really is the Bible for kids.

  • 1:21-1:37 everytime my family & I watch that scene we always go "It's the stay-puff marshmellow man."

  • C.S. Lewis rolled in his grave.

  • ИСТОРИЈАТА НА НАРНИЈ А ,,ПАТУВАЊАТА НА МУГРА''

that my dear jeremy and people is how this movies name is called in my contry

we all love it i mean the chronicles of narnia books are AWESOMETACULAR plus they have great storylines action adventure and much more so if you dont like the movie pleace keep your opinion to yourself

i love this movie my friends love it the books and the movies so to the fans of Narnia lets hope we get a movie for each of the 6 books so thats was all from me :D

  • I hate all the narnias

  • @Suxipoz He's christian so I don't think he cared about it

  • 1:45 you made me spit out the water i was drinking. hilarious

  • I never got into Narnia, too many Christian overtones. I know it's sad that it ruins the movie, but watching the first was boring. I only liked the wolves, and cant bring myself to watch the others.

  • Almost did a spit take at the Ghostbuster reference! Bad time to take a sip of Gatorade!!!! XD

  • Voyage was my least favorite one. It was a step back from the first two.

  • @alexathefabulous agreed

  • i fell asleep through all 3 of these movies they were just that bland

  • Eustace ruined it all for me.

  • LoLz, love the ghostbusters joke

  • Best narnia book ever but probably the worst movie ive ever seen

  • frankly, that kid (Eustace (correct me if I'm spelling this wrong) annoyed the hell out of me through the whole movie... and I kept wondering WHY the risked their lives over him... seriously, the evil guy in the town where they were shipping people to Nowhere Land was threatening to KILL Eustace, and they could've not cared.... but they actually put their weapons down... there was no reason, as Eustace's only character traits were being as annoying as hell, and whining about being away from home

  • @Typlogo Because the books are Christian allegories, and the main point of Christianity is that even though we have all fallen, Christ laid down his life to save us all, regardless of what we have done.

That is probably the best answer you will get.

  • i dont get why people are bagging the movie, i thought it was incredible! monumentally better than #2, in par with the original aswell... finally got a better look at aslan :) it really warmed my heart.

  • My favorite part of this whole video was 1:32 - 1:50!! LOL

  • ehhhhhhh.. that movie seemed rushed,,,,

  • 2:03 datz wat she said

  • Comment removed

  • i watched this like 10 mins ago... and im still lauging at 1:45 !

  • To be honest, I really think they need to let this series die, and try again in like ten years

  • Haven't watched it yet, but i know this is gonna be good, hahaha

  • To be honest, I don't think that Prince Caspian was that bad of a movie. Why? The freaking war scenes. Those were some of the best battle scenes I've seen in a long time.

  • I didn't even know it was a book until the trailer or whatever said to read books, after you watch the movie.

  • 1:34 lol I was thinking the same thing

  • @alexathefabulous i cracked up soooooo hard on that part

  • at 1:38 when he said something about marshmellow man when i was watching the movie and it reach to that part with the evil i was thinking the exact same thing wow :-O lol

  • eustace impression...fucking awesome just like everyone said.

  • I personally really enjoyed this movie, I mean, I really liked the changes they made from the novel, and it had a really nice interpretation of temptation. Not all the changes they made were perfect, but I still feel that it was a really well-made film.

  • i wanted Eustace to die. as soon as *SPOILERS* he turned into a dragon, i had a huge smile on my face because i didnt have to hear him bitching about everything. when he turned back, i was about to cry.

  • Anyone else notice the annotation for the "Subscribe" button pops up before he actually punches the screen?

  • this is wierd. Ive watched ten or so of your reviews now and although theyre funny I havent agreed with your rating on a single one. is it you or me who has harrible taste in movies?

  • I agree 3D just hurt my eyes in cinema.

I like 2D better, plus doesnt have to wear the stupid eyeglasses

  • @joystickers

Hardly. Fox didn't even have the backbone to stick to the REAL story. They suck.

  • They ruined my favourite childhood book :'( I'd read that book so many times... It was a big disappointment to watch that movie. And WTF was with the green smoke bad thingie?!! that was nowhere in the books. it was a journey of self discovery, not of fighting a cheesy materialized evil.

  • @toxicallypink

By adding the smoke, it added a way for the movie to have more purpose and a quicker tone to the movie. The book was better, but it would not have translated well in the screen. IMO

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA THAT EUSTACE IMPRESSION WAS PRICELESS! XD

  • @foojuice101 h aha ha ha I know I died when he did it.

  • Hahaha, great review. The Eustace impression was hilarious.

  • haha when i saw the movie with the dark mist part with Edmund saying "oh no!" i was like Stay puft marshmallow man!!! and almos laughed.

  • Christ that Eustace impression cracks me up.

  • 0:15 thats wat she said. i had to do it

  • This was actually the only book I liked in the whole narnia series.

  • The marshmallow man.........You. Are Awesome.

  • Y'know, you're REALLY entertaining!

  • the Eustace impression was right on!! That guy was hilarious XD

  • i kinda of think that the voyage of the dawn treader did well because people liked the book and probably because they want fox the earn more money to make silver chair, which to most people is their favorite narnia book.

  • when are they going to make the magicians nephew movie? That and the silver chair were probably the most interesting narnia books. And I read all of them.

  • The only thing I liked was the cousin, YES he was annoying be he was so AWESOME while being annoying. Everything else..... scrap the movie.

  • when I think Narnia, I do not think Prince Caspian? Crap. I think of every single book you little ignorant prick

  • i knew i wasn't the only one who expected the Stay Puft marshmallow man to come onscreen...people were looking at me funny when I groaned in upsetness that it was a huge sea monster instead...

  • i bet the movie would've been better if Adams directed it. And if H.g williams composed to it.

  • i loved all the books and the movies good too i must say. yeah i even sort of cried at the end :P

btw it's you-stus (last part rhymes with "us")

  • i read all the books... i mean the lion the witch and the wardrobe is the best one! and i think Voyage was my favorate after L,W,&W

  • 1:45 Greatest impression ever. I love you.

  • Jeremy ur the fuckin bomb

  • Finally a reviewer who isn't like "IT SUCKED WHAAA!!!" and I thought about Stay Puft as well XD

  • @adiostraitorobama Opinion, I thought it was good. as long as it makes money the franchise wont die. But the Last Battle is the worst book. Horse and his Boy is the best, most political and real.

  • At 1:38 I thought the same thing when I watched this movie.

  • omg, that was a perfect reenactment of that douche cousin, hahhaahha. And I was totally thinking the Stay Puff Marshmellow Man too, lol

  • @adiostraitorobama i can see it sucking without susans huge juggs and peters greatness theres no way they could of had more success then the first 2

  • Was shocked that the movie was good, thought it was better than the first two and had a better music score..and it moved quickly. I was thrown off for the first half cuz it looked like it was shot on some kinda hi def video..I guess that was a cost cutting measure. They finally got it right. Great review as always.

  • @CrassMufumbu I have to disagree, the movie had very little resemblance to the book and tried to be like Pirates of The Caribbean.....I was so disappointed because it is my favorite novel out of the series and I feel like they have lost a part of Narnia that can never be acquired again ;(

  • @eiredance92 I don't see the Pirates reference reminded me of the old Sinbad or Jason & the Argonauts movies..which I Love..its also my favorite of the books..but because they royally screwed the adaptations for the first two..I was happily surprised with this one. It will be the only one I'll purchase. I actually love the 1979 cartoon. Anyways we should get the Silver Chair and that will be the end. And if all goes well I'll be able to make my version in about 5 years..got it all planned out.

  • hey anyone please watch my vids and like and i wil ldo same just message me that you did it

  • So peter and susan arnt in any of the other books!!!!??????

  • This sucked compared to the books or the first movie.

  • Personally, I HATED this movie. I saw it twice, and as a serious Narniac, I HATED it. The two good things were, as you said, the relationship between Reep and Eustace...and the ending. The ending was sweet. ^U^ Otherwise...I thought it SUCKED! They changed EVERYTHING (or very nearly), and I just... T.T It's a freaking disgrace to my favorite books ever, and I can't take it.

However, I respect your opinion. There were some good points for fanfiction, though, and I enjoyed that bit... XD

  • @7Write4This9Heart7 Thank you so much!!! I am so glad that I am not the only one who hated it!! I LOVE the books SOOOOOO much and they totally killed the story!!! Most of the key points of focus aren't even in the book: Lucy's self-image issue, The white witch returning, the green mist, etc.... I was so sad and I believe that if C.S. Lewis were alive today he would be heartbroken... I blame the director change and the studio change. grrr.

  • @eiredance92 Okay the book does not have a plot. I love all the books, including Dawn Treader, but lets face it-- the plot is weak and the book focuses on teh chars. Which is okay. The movie needs a plot to go on. They keep in the original plot, which is finding the seven lost lords of Telmar. But they have to add something otherwise the movie would be going nowhere. So they add in a plot along with keeping the original. Lucy's insecure issues are stated in the book, but enhanced much more..

  • @eiredance92 Part 2-- Of course the thing with her wanting to be Susan wasnt the best way to describe it. I would have liked the way they did it in the book. Lets see-- they combined some of the islands, understandable. They used the Three Sleepers awakeing to entertwine with the new plot. Thats okay becuz they way they awakened in the book was stupid. I mean how simple-- send someone to the end of the world. The green mist is how i imagined Dark Island to be... Dawn Treader was good and 2nd bes

  • @7Write4This9Heart7 They added, and only changed some things. I mean it has the orginal plot, but it adds another plot. What else?? Eustace was a dragon longer... and er... Lucy was more insecure. wow realer chars.. big deal.

  • LOL ok check this out, the eustace kid is wearing brown suspenders and a white/yellow shirt. He gripes and complains at everything. Is it just me or is eustace from courage the cowardly dog this kid grown up?

  • Loved this movie. 3D wasn't that bad but it wasn't really necessary.

  • Jeremy, I'd love you to do an entire review in the style of Mark Wahlberg. Your impression of him is awesometacular.

  • 1:45 loltastic

  • THIS MOVIE WAS CRAP!!! THIS MOVIE MAKES THE 2ND MOVIE LOOK LIKE 300.THEY WALK SAIL AROUND ALL DAY FIGHTING NOTHING WHO WAS THE BAD GUY A GREEN MIST? IT WAS HOORIBLE, U KNOW ITS BAD WHEN KIDS ARE ASKING THEIR PARENT DO WE HAVE TO STAY TO THE END

  • @Karceno4Life haha... um.. it was actually quite good. But thats your opinion.

  • haha I screamed STAY PUFT MARSHMALLOW MAN! during that part. right on.

  • lol i liked all the chronicles of narnia :D they were all dope!

  • I liked this movie, but sadely it didn't live up to its fullest potential. Now i'm just tempted to watch the first one!

  • Yea 3D movie tickets and overpriced food are killing me

  • I would not have watched this movie if you'd paid me but you were o so right about MacGruber so I'll give it a try.

  • ur laugh at 203 is so cute! :) <3

  • realy this is one of the best movies I've seen and it's cas( if your like me) you understand eustas. he is this misunderstood kid with almost no friends so he studies...alot and he finaly makes friends........ and the final battle was amazing.

  • dude that eustace impression made me and my brother lmao, or...loao...

    dead on man haha

  • you like narnia 1 ??!!!! wtf jeremy you lost a subscriber

  • @eldiegoescreacion most ppl did.

  • @eldiegoescreacion you unsubscribed? you're such a badass.

  • @eldiegoescreacion It has a 76% on rotten tomatoes so alot of people liked it.

  • Silver Chair is my favorite Narnia book. I hope they get to it next.

  • I was expecting a worse of a review. Okay, I'll go see it, in the two dollar theater a few weeks from now.

  • @SuspenseSmith I got bigger movies to watch, like Tron Legacy.
