hey fahadhm i was wondering how can i start doing races like this... i own a civic im 18 and everyone is all about drags in the u.s. sometime i take my car to the mountains and do shyt like this alone cuz no one dose this... it has alot of curves i have fun..im allways working on my car too. i live in vegas there a track out of vegas its like 3 to 4 hour drive but never went cuz i dont have a good job to be spending.. you got any advices for me or anything that can help me out???

Hi Vince, it's better to check with the SCCA. I drove at Spring Mountain circuit in Pahrump last year. You have some nice circuits around Nevada.

they have open track days, I think it's in the range of $200-$300.

Looks like the white guy took the block at 5:02 badly... I wouldn't say it deserved all the shunts afterwards though!

as you can see from the description and annotation, I was on dry setup, which means funny lines and slow. The shunt at 5:30, because the white car was understeering, I was too, which gave big room. All in all, this is part of the fun. I hope you enjoyed my ma5da videos. Thanks

Excellent upload & excellent camera shots ! Sorry to see that WHITE Mx5 ending up hitting your car multipal times when he didn't have the 'Skills Required' to pass your car on the track. It takes NO skill at all to 'shove' another car off a race track, the driver should not be in that class.

Hi Fergus, thank you very much for the compliments. We are not pro's, there are huge difference in skill and car performance in that championship. Myself, I was on worn out tires while the circuit was very wet and greasy. Also because of the fact that those cars are cheap, drivers are not too worried about damaging their cars or others. You should watch my latest race videos for more close and exciting racing. Thank you.

Nice video, when you said that the car became hard to steer was that because after the hit, it messed up the alignment on one of the rear wheels????

It's just a way to say that life is all about learning, always trying to have a positive attitude, and doing the best that you can with what you've been given, and most importantly having fun.

Don't be so down on yourself. You did very well - especially considering slicks in the rain. That made it like driving at 10/10's or a bit beyond the whole time for you. You looked far more under control and had a better line than a lot of the other guys in that video who were not on slicks.

now it makes sense and a great advice too. btw we race on treaded tires, we use full tread for the wet and low tread for the dry. Mine were almost slicks, very worn out. I had a puncture as soon as the race finished. I know what you mean about other cars, it's just so disappointing to see them spin and catch me before we complete a lap.

In Holland we have the Total Mazda MaX5cup, last year there where 8 cars at the start, that number increased to 19 cars this year. I love those little mazda's, they are great cars. I really love your vids they make me smile :D

Wow, that looked like a handful. Very cool seeing you slip and slide all over the place. That was definitely more entertaining than some of the F1 races this year which usually turn into a very fast, expensive parade. Can't wait to see more. Nice video.
