Interesting. I thought that additive synthesis would be most valid "opposite" synthesis method to subtractive synthesis; but it looks like the FM seems to works in very much opposite way to subtractive synthesis, as well. So my Voyager OS and DX7 Mk1 complement each other well. Two good introductory synths to start learning synthesis, I think.
