We forget that cats live in the damn forest because theyve been our pets for so many years. Cats and dogs are no different than a fox. @1986humdinger sorry to burst your bubble here, but the situation in Zanesville was a COMPLETELY different story. Those animals were killed as a result of their owners stupid nature. Some animals are easily domesticated, when treated properly. The animals in Zanesville were mistreated and any good nature that they may have had towards humans was thrown out when they were released into unfamiliar territory, full of people that wanted to hurt them. Animals can sense when they are in danger.

@79Testo You need to learn something about Rabid animals. First of all, a Rabid animal is in a very angry state of mind. There are tell tale signs of Rabies. A Rabid animal is aggresive, often frothing at the mouth. It's eyes would give away that it's in a Rabid state.

This Fox is clearly not Rabid at all. It's in a calm, curious and docile. That's the reason it came close to people.
