I'm thinking of buying one of these...the gel fasinates me and sounds super convienent. I've been researching a little bit to make sure I have happy ants, and have found "harvester ants" seem to be ideal for the ant farms. i caught ants for my ant farm and they actally made a large complex system, in fact i had to make holes in the sides of the ant farm and make tubes to other ant farms so there was enough room, plus mine actally are still living, i caught 2 queens and put them in.
